Gone

AN: This is my interpretation of what we didn't get to see in the season finale. flames will be used to melt the snow on my car.

S.O.A belongs to Kurt Sutter, not me and even if I changed my name to Kurt Sutter it still wouldn't be mine.

Italics are flashback

There's a dead man on my kitchen floor.

Half-Sack tried to protect us from Cameron as he pointed that knife into the baby carrier. We charged Cameron at the same time to get to the baby... Kip got there first. His reward was a butcher knife in the gut. Cameron smiles. A cruel, twisted smile as he removes the bloody knife from Kip's torso allowing the Prospect to fall to the ground, bleeding out.

He picks Abel up out of his carrier as he rounds on me "A son for a son"he repeats quietly

"No" I say finally finding my voice "Please, please take me instead."

Cameron looked thoughtful as Abel's screams grew louder. He reached down and brushed Abel's cheek as he tried to quiet him as his cries grew more frantic.

"Go get some rope doc" He tells me as I get to my feet

"I'm not leaving you alone with him."

Cameron sighs. He can tell I'm trying to buy time so Jax can get home and kill him.

"I don' have time for this" he says as he opens the nearest drawer never taking his eyes off of me. To his delight he finds a huge roll of duct tape. Damn you, Jax.

He picks up his gun and points it at Abel's head "Start walkin Doc. Don' try anythin stupid."

Cameron's behind me now. I can see Abel out of the corner of my eye. His little face red as a beet as he wailes in that Irish Asshole's grasp.

We head down the hall past the bathroom toward the nursery. Tears sting my eyes as I blink them away "Get in the chair."he commands. Without argument I sit down. He places Abel on the floor by the door as he heads toward me unrolling the duct tape.

He's in front of me now with the gun pointed at my head.

Screw my life. I think as I tackle him to the ground.

The gun flies from his grasp and slides across the room as I scramble to the baby. Cameron is on his feet looking for his gun as I grab Abel off the floor and race toward the front door.

I grasp the doorknob as Cameron fires a shot directly into the wall above my shoulder.

"Ya think I'm playing with you?"he roars, firing a second shot. I'm immobile. His gun is trained on me.

His hand wraps in my hair as he leads us back to the nursery. I sit in the chair with Abel on my lap.

Cameron ties my left hand to the chair, my right on Abel's back as I vainly try to comfort him.

"Why are you doing this?"I say as he smirks as he tapes my feet up.

"Gemma took my son so now I'm taking your son. It is time for Jax to learn consequences to his family's actions." His gun waivers back to the baby. "I could kill him for that stunt you pulled, doc."

I kissed the top of Abel's head before Cameron yanked him out of my grasp. Cameron set him on the floor as he tied my other hand

"Jax'll never let you take our son." I snarl feeling brave.

Cameron smiles sadly at me as he tapes my mouth. "Maybe" he says as he picks up Abel and leaves the room.

I don't let the tears fall until I hear the front door slam and they were gone.
