Beyond Hatred

Gazth-Sonika was forever a terra firma of hatred and blood-soaked skin, whenever it came to their freedom and their own birthright. Humans were both savage and loyal to a fault, to the point where they couldn't stand to see another die and they simply end their own misery. Another point is where they can kill anyone with no second thoughts and see themselves in the reflection of blood.
Limelda Jorg knew full well what she got herself into when she joined the military in the fight to free Gazth-Sonika. She had little knowledge to the assassin Madlax, the one whose talent and ambition paled in comparison against her own, but she saw the sufferings caused by war. The sufferings come to mind when soldiers see blood on their own hands, the blood of innocents of which they killed. Limelda knew well that all emotions were dead to a soldier, but to Madlax, emotion was everything.
They were different, and that was what Limelda hated about Madlax, but they also the same. Madlax screamed in her mind when she killed someone, a human just like her, who had memories beyond compare and feelings just like everyone else. Nonetheless, she kills because it was her job to do so. Limelda, however, saw Madlax's hidden sadism, the unquenchable thirst for blood that she saw, through her art of deception and skilled combat.
She saw it as if it was her own, since only and all humans could commit such atrocities against their own, and she saw herself when she was against the enigma that was named Madlax.
The one of the military Limelda Jorg and the infamous assassin Madlax are alike in a way. They had full capacity to kill humans in their own right while they had the ability to comprehend what they had done, to see the pain they had caused. The reasons they forever run through the combat zone of Gazth-Sonika are beyond comprehension, and beyond hatred.
