Lee had secretly "worshipped" him in school.
His cool attitude towards things and the fact that he was a head boy- something that he had dreamt of, but never came true because he had made friends with Fred and George Weasley, the two infamous trouble-makers of the school.
So of course he was delighted to find out he was chosen to work at Gringotts, under the supervision of Bill Weasley. Bill recognized him from the wedding as one of the twin's invites.
"Lee Jordan right?" he asked, shaking a very eager Lee by the hand. Lee nodded. He hoped he didn't look stupid. Bill took the two other trainees and him for a trip around Gringotts Bank. Lee started to love his job. The place was so mysterious, which was just the place for him. He met with some goblins, who answered some of his enquiries.
"Well, I hope you guys will have a fun time here," Bill smiled, walking to his own office. Lee settled down at his own office. He was happy with his boss and his job. His hands were shaking as he sat down on his chair and sipped coffee. He could not help but smile.
