Terror in the Modern Era! Kagome's crisis!

Prologue-Kagome's discovery
It's another typical day for Higurashi Kagome as she prepares to stay with Inuyasha and the gang. Little does she know her typical day will soon be anything but that as aliens prepare to invade Earth. She goes through the well and is immediately greeted by Shippou who asks "Hey Kagome, didya bring any goodies today?" An irate Inuyasha adds a "Feh. I'm going to look for more Shikon no Kakera." to the conversation and promptly hits the ground after Kagome uses the command Osuwari before saying "Inuyasha, come with me. I think it'd be safer at my house." and dragging him by one ear towards the well, climbing in and going back to Tokyo which, of course, is now nothing more than a skyline of charred, twisted skeletons. Her house is nothing more than a pile of burned bricks and wood. She falls to her knees, obviously shocked at seeing the destruction. Inuyasha hears the noise of jet fighters flying overhead towards a large black object and begins following them, running across the Pacific Ocean towards Los Angeles, which is also gone and then jumping over the LA seawall, continuing his run over hills and even over the Rockies into Denver, which is being attacked. As Inuyasha arrived, a laser quickly materialized, firing at the Denver Art Museum. Inuyasha, utilizing his demon instincts, quickly swung his Tetsusaiga through the air with a shout of "Kongosoha!", causing large shards of diamond to form on the blade and shoot out, splitting the deadly laser in half and redirecting it into several nearby buildings.
Chapter One-Kagome's Sadness
After shaking off the shock of seeing her beloved hometown in ruins, Kagome began wandering between the charred remains of Tokyo's suburbs, repeatedly stopping to help injured people buried under shifting piles of debris.
