Hey Guys.
This is going to be a short one ands its possibly one of the hardest stories to write because its about what just happened in my life. Anyway enjoy the story
She had her back against the door with her teddy safely tucked into her arms. She could hear the family war raging on in the living room. Usually her brother would be there to comfort her and tell her everything was going to be all right. But unfortunately he ran away, he was all she had against the battle of forgetting and remembering. She cried as the memories of her past came flooding back. She never liked the memories because the tears came easy and once again she breaks her promise to herself for this day.
"It's going to be alright I promise" The boy said reaching for something in his bag. "Here have this" he gave his four-year-old crying sister a teddy bear. One that would protect her while she sat and cried. "He will keep you safe"
"Promise?" she said while looking at his brown eyes
"Promise" he replied hugging her.
"Sis, if I ever leave I want you to know that I love you ok?"
"Ok" the four year old replied as they sat on the cold, hard floor waiting for the family war to end.
Her brother used to always say:
'You are strong because you know your weaknesses. You are beautiful because you know your flaws. You are fearless because you learnt to recognise, illusion from real. You are wise because you learnt from your mistakes. You are a lover because you have felt hate and… you can laugh cause you've felt sadness. Sis don't ever change for anyone. Please?'
She still didn't know why he left; she claims it happened all at once but deep inside she knows why, she knows why all this is happening but just doesn't want to admit its all real. The family war kept raging on and now she looks back at the family pictures they took and knows they were all fake smiling except for her. It was alwaysa battle between remembering and forgetting…
I used some quotes in this one because I didn't want to give out to much detail about my past. Soo I hope you like this one. Tears were shed while making this since it counts as remembering. Anyway I'm babbling again.
Anya out. PEACE!
