Hi, this is another one shot I had in mind. Happens post eclipse. Sort of AU. Please read and review.

Every time she saw him she repeated the same question.
"How could you still love me after everything I've done to you?" she asked.
Every day she would get the same answer. His smile.
That day too she asked him the same, not really expecting an answer; not the verbal one at least. But then she knew that she was finally going to get her answer. His smile had turned bitter.
"Bells, honey, you of all the people should know the answer to it." He said.
And she tried very hard not to understand whom he was referring to. This surprised her. It had been a very long time since she stopped trying desperately not to remember him.
She didn't realize she had wrapped her hands around her chest.
"Why are you holding yourself together now? This is supposed to be your happy era. Remember?" he asked. There was no bitterness in his voice. He was just stating the fact.
She didn't answer. She didn't have the courage to tell him the truth.
She then realized she shared more than a kindred spirit with Jacob black; a broken heart.
Only hers didn't know for whom it was breaking.
So she got up quietly and turned back to leave.
He didn't try to stop her nowadays. He knew she would be back.
She knew it too.
They needed each other to heal anyway.
