'Bloody Mary'
Edward Cullen was sitting in math class, being hundreds of years old he already knew the subject TOO well, so he decided to entertain himself by reading the minds of those around him. Starting with the front of the class he made his way down the lines, Matt, a boy seated two rows away was strugling to understand the subjet. Billy, was thinking about asking Rebecca out on a date. Rebecca, was trying to make time go faster so she could eat lunch already. He went from person to person, litsining to normal high schoolian thoughts.
(" I hate math")
(" Will it ever end")
(" I hope Scottie dosnt find out")
(" I wonder what the teacher would do if i snaped and killed everyone in the room")
Wait? Edward looked around the room casually, focusing on the voice to find its owner. A small girl with shoulder length red hair and freackels sat next to him, she was quite and pleasent, always greeted him when she sat down, Mary, he finally remembered, was her name. She had always been shy and never really talked much, which was why he found it so suprising when he matched the thouhts to her.
(" I could probably get away with it if i pinned the blame on the teacher. but the screaming would atract attention so i would have to make this fast.")
Edward watched as her eyes shifted from person to person. he saw each face through her eyes and listened in stuned silance as she played with the ribbon holding up her pigtail. (" hmmm . . . . who to murder first. maybe . . . no i like charlie he can be last.") A shiver went up his spine as he saw his own face. (" Cullen. yes he can be first, there are only fifteen victims in class today, i think i'll use my pen as the wepon.") His eyes shot to the pen on her desk just inches away from the first mass murder of high schoolers in the history of forks, wasington.
Edward raised his hand getting the teachers attention. " May i go to the restroom sir" he asked politely. to his dismay the man said no, threre were only five minutets left of class and he could hold it. a wave of panic passed over him as he heared mary's next thougts (" five minutes is plenty of time Cullen, you will never exscape.") Edward watched as mary reaced for the pen while trying to decide where to stab him when . . . .
" Attention. all junuors report to the gym for an asimbly now please, All junoirs to the gym."
He sighed with relief, and gathering his things followed the rest of the would be victims out of the class room. but before he could make it out the door he felt someone bump into him. looking around he saw Mary, books held to her chest, pigtails falling loose, and in a small, quiet vioce he heard her say excuse me and walk by while lookin at the floor.
(" You won't get away next time Cullen ")
