It was said in the ancient law; the sealed demons will rise again. These beasts of old will bring with them the destruction of humanity and all that is holy in our world. Truth be told, very little is mentioned about the how and why but the little information we have suggests that two heroes will rise. One of gold and one of night, these mere mortals will be given the duty to protect not only themselves but all of humanity. They will become our heroes born from necessity and yet we must hope that they hold the power to save us all.
However, it is only a story, or so it seems. Humanity over the years has become foolish towards the very idea of the supernatural. They believe those who put faith in these fairy tales to be foolish and delusional. However in the end only time will tell and only those who believe will be strong enough.
Rage is such a strong emotion. It has consumed many people, resulting in their ultimate and rather violent downfall. At this moment in time, the worlds rage was held in the body of one single man. He could feel it running through his vaines like wild fire. This one moment had been predicted many centuries ago, many humans believed it to be another fairy tale, no a nightmare. No one could have ever imagined how much destruction one small mistake could have made.
The surrounding buildings of the courtyard were beginning to crumble under the raw pressure of the flames that surrounded them. The burning sky covered the area in an almost demonic light, the flames curling and crawling as if trying to make their way to the centre of the destruction. Almost lifeless bodies were scattered throughout the courtyard, all varying in injuries. If any onlookers were present they may describe this scene as catastrophic or maybe even the stuff of nightmares. However right now this is all too real to have been constructed from one individual's imagination.
The flames began to spread, racing towards the single man, consuming everything in sight. Buildings, people, even nature began to burn and crumble under the heat. Suddenly the world became what it once was, dark. The world was now nothing more than emptiness and silence, all light devoured, all hope lost.
