It's the eve of Sam and Emily's wedding, but Leah is nowhere near home. She is sitting on the leg of the second "L" of "HOLLYWOOD", her hair a mess, her clothes a mess, her heart a mess. She always wanted so badly to be here, but she never thought she would have to go it alone.
Then she hears him approaching, quietly, cautiously. He sits next to her. They are two black dots on the huge white letter. Leah chews the inside of her mouth as he turns to her.
"If it's worth anything," Jacob says, "I miss you."
