It is 3:30 in the morning and I am sitting in front of my computer with a pint of chocolate fudge brownie Ben and Jerry's ice cream and a bottle of ice cold water. Slightly odd combination, but for me it has always worked. The water mixed well with the weird feeling ice cream always leave's my mouth feeling. I have always had a taste for what most consider weird tasting foods. Most chalk it up to being so close to a friend when she got pregnant, I got her weird cravings since she never got them. But a large amount of it started well before any of my friends even started having sex.

"Kagome," a voice called behind me. "It is late, and you have work in the morning."

"I know this Sesshoumaru," I said coldly. "You do not need to remind me like I am a child."

"When you stop behaving as such," he started. "Then I will refrain from it. Now please, go to bed. I tire of hearing you wandering around in the night."

"I have been sitting here quietly for the last twenty minutes," I challenged the demon standing before me.

Sesshoumaru was my roommate, my friend… sometimes, as well as my future boss. I recently moved in with him after breaking up with my long time boyfriend, Akira Hojo, on the circumstances that I had to get a job to help support my random habits that consisted of large amounts of chocolate fudge brownie ice cream, buying books online for either my large collection, or for the eReader he had purchased me the previous Christmas. I am starting to think working for him will be a bad idea.

a.n. I can sadly tell you this is exactly how my day has started. I got off work to discover my little cousin asleep on the couch, couldn't sleep myself, and found myself dying for chocolate fudge brownie ice cream and a bottle of ice cold water. Strange mix I hear, and sadly I love it.

This is not a story I will be working on much, I just wanted to test the waters with a sample chapter. Let me know what you think. I will probably not update it, but I should let you all know I am pulling "Kagome" off my list altogether. It doesn't flow right.
