Sad face D: I have been terrible and lazy about 'If I Should Wake' (Oho, I am so naughty . . .), so you get a random (weird) drabble! This was somehow gonna go into the original version of the plot somehow, but I completely rearranged it and mangled it so now I have several loose and homeless drabbles D: lol Enjoy anyway ^^

"Don't be frightened - so many people have been frightened of me . . ." At this point, the only unnerving part about Darkrai, was the fact that now he had formed the illusion of a mouth. The mouth was wide with thin lips, and as far as dawn could tell, toothless.

"It's not you," She spoke timidly. "It's your mouth." The pokémon was taken aback and Dawn immediately regretted her choice of words at the sight of his expression.

"Well I can't expect you to be completely relaxed with my appearance, now can I?" He grinned enthusiastically and she got a shot of a pale thin tongue. Dawn winced and the grin straightened. "I conjured it up so that you wouldn't be startled by the telepathy any longer - It's an illusion like the man at the Harbor Inn and like my legs . . ." He said gently. She blushed at the thought of his legs, straddling her waist like they had been . . . His legs were very tangible that time. She wondered at the back of her mind if his mouth was as well . . .

"It's just . . . You don't have teeth." She huffed quickly at the thought. He stared coolly at her.

"Well, I opted not to conjure teeth, as every time I had tried to . . . They turned out looking like - This -" Suddenly the creature before her smiled and his mouth full of razor sharp white teeth glinted in the sunlight. She gasped with a startled blink as he predicted and the mouth of teeth snapped shut.

"I'm sorry -," He started towards her quickly outreaching a dark arm.

"For what?" She giggled "I think I like it better when you do have teeth!"

I wrote this before I saw How To Train Your Dragon- and I now realize why Toothless was familiar to me XD
