PROLOGUE
The Slender Man. An engima who is mostly seen as a tall, thin figure with tentacle-like arms, and a face no two people see the same way, if any face at all. The only thing known about it is that it has existed far longer than anyone would expect. Those who catch sight of it often wind up missing, or worse. Their bodies are found impaled and mutilated on trees, with their organs systematically removed and then replaced.
It is often associated with paranoia and a strange sickness, with its victims often maniacally writing strange messages, and scribbling pictures of a dark, faceless figure.
It is advised that you refrain from learning too much about it, lest you catch unwanted attention.
And with that, I present to you our story.
