Disclosure: I do not own BSG, or any of its characters, yet they live on in my heart. SO SAY WE ALL!
"Laura?"
"Mmmhmm."
"I was wondering if..."
Outside the tent, the wind howled. Another raging storm had set itself upon the freeze-dried planet, causing New Caprica's 30,000 new inhabitants to take shelter for the duration.
The teacher smiled and brushed a lazy kiss to the admiral's well muscled bicep. Beneath every blanket she owned, they lay wrapped in each other's arms, their bodies sufficiently warm from sleep and enthusiastic sex.
"I would think that being the avid reader that you are, you'd be more aware of the importance of well-placed punctuation."
"What?"
Ms. Roslin playfully rolled her eyes at her lover. The man could be adorably dense at times.
"I already said yes."
"You did?"
Laura nodded an affirmative, then seductively rubbed herself against him. Along with an endless source of body heat, William Adama was blessed with a remarkably quick refractory time. She too, was equally ready, so after grabbing Bill by his dog tags, Laura hitched a leg around his waist and kissed him with tender familiarity.
"I distinctly said 'Mmmhmm', with a period, not 'Mmmhmm' with a question mark. There's a difference."
Growling for effect, Bill closed the gap between Laura's mouth and his, kissing her fully while simultaneously rolling her onto her back, which in turn, caused her to hum with anticipation.
"As much as I hated school, I should have known better than to frak a teacher."
Laura purred as she linked her hands behind Bill's neck. His hair was much longer than when she'd first met him, and now curled boyishly at the ends. It felt good between her fingers, and was fun to play with. He favored her with a crooked-toothed grin, and Gods help her, but she fell even deeper for him.
"And I should have known better than to frak a Viper pilot."
"But here we are."
"A very nice place, indeed."
The rest of their conversation, uttered between open-mouthed kisses and the occasional nip of teeth, was punctuated in its entirety with exclamation points.
