Sleep talking.

It had been a long day of pretending to clean various places in the castle while at the same time trying to avoid it's master at the same time, so to say the least when the clock on the wall of the 3rd floors abandoned hall struck 11:00 Magenta had never been more happy to make her way down the creaking stairs to the room that belonged to her. As she opened the door she sighed heavily, though the room was not completely her own though it had been at one point until Frank took in a childish human girl who all but attached herself to her side. The room before Magenta was a clash of her own dark and heavy drapes, plum silk blanketed bed, navy walls and dark wood floors, then Columbia's teenish things, stuffed animals littered the small bed the other girl rarely occupied, a string of pink fairy lights cut through a spot on the dark wall and a fluffy off white rug covered a circle of the wood floor.

This happened to be exactly where Magenta found Columbia sprawled out on her stomach, head resting on her arms over a magazine, light snores came from her cherry colored lips. Shaking her head Magenta stepped into the room and carefully made her way to her bed, ridding herself of her clothes down to her lacy black bra and panties set as she went. She was more than content to leave the groupie to sleep on the floor but as she pulled on a black sheer nighty she realized sleeping on the floor often led to back pain and the petite woman having back pain meant she'd end up having to listen to the high-pitched complaining the following day.

Going back to where Columbia was lying Magenta kneeled down and gently shook the red head's shoulder.

"Come on Columbia, wake up, time for bed."

With a groan Columbia turned her head away and curled into a tight ball giving a half audible 'no'. A little frustrated and tired Magenta shook the groupie again only to get no response, now she was more than willing to just leave the stubborn woman to sleep on the floor but thought better of it, if only for her own sake. With a sigh she stood and moved to stand behind Columbia before leaning down and scooping her into her arms. She was surprised when the lifting was easier than she expected, the girl was like a feather with her small frame, no wonder Eddie could swing her around so easily.

Coming back to herself Magenta walked back to the bed and settled Columbia under the covers before slipping in beside her. It seemed she had just closed her eyes when the whispered sound of her name made her open them again expecting to find her bed mate wide awake and inquisitive as always. This time, however, she was surprised to find Columbia was still sound asleep and had shifted closer so their bodies were pressed together, her head resting snuggly on Magenta's chest and her arms pressed to her stomach between their bodies.

Magenta could only stare at the sleeping human for a moment, in the past few months they had been room and bed mates not once had the groupie moved like this. Sure most times their heads would end up on the same pillow but only because they both moved in their sleep.

"...Genta…"

The mumbled word mde Magenta snap from her thoughts to realize Columbia was talking in her sleep, as she often did, but it wasn't the normal gibberish that was spoken, no this time it was her name.

"Magenta...don't leave…"

Feeling a blush creep into her icy cheeks magenta slowly wrapped her arms around the other woman holding her closer as her own eyes slipped closed and a slight smile formed on her lips as she fell into sleep.
