Sasuke came back at the dead of the night. More tired than he had ever been. His shoulders were killing him, his eyelids were heavy and his vision was way more blurry than usual. He'd slept longer than expected that night and by God, he didn't care. He was tired as hell. Of course, he does regret sleeping immediately, since he had to resist the urge to let Naruto cuddle with him.

(He won't admit he likes his cat-like behavior.)

He woke up at eight in the morning. He was always to be an early riser no matter how tired he is. He yawned quietly, Naruto would probably wake up an hour from now and complain that he's hungry. Sasuke would've gotten up to make something, but he felt a weight on his arm and knew he couldn't move without waking up the blonde. It didn't hurt that he looked cute like that, so Sasuke let him be.

Naruto woke up much later than anticipated, groggy and moving closer into whatever pillow he was on. "You awake?" Oh. It's Sasuke.

"Mm..." Sasuke nearly smiled, "Mornin'."

"It's 2 in the afternoon." Sasuke himself is shocked he'd been in bed so long, but Naruto is like an aphrodisiac. Naruto opened his eyes slowly, looking up at him, and it astonished Sasuke that he could still see how blue his eyes were.

"Shouldn't you have gone to work like...decades ago?" Copying what his late brother used to do, Sasuke flicked Naruto's forehead at his response.

"It's Saturday, Dobe." Naruto was still too tired to argue that it's in fact still Friday and Sasuke should listen to him more. But Naruto wouldn't skip out a chance to have Sasuke not gone for most the day. But he also wouldn't skip out on calling Sasuke a bastard for insulting his intelligence with his retort. Naruto would've done so, but his stomach interrupted him.

They locked eyes for a while, until he chuckled nervously, "I'm hungry."

Sasuke sighed, "I would have had breakfast ready, but you were sleeping on my arm and I didn't want to wake you."

"Aw, you do care."

Sasuke rolled his eyes, "Whatever, go back to sleep moron." Naruto nestled back onto Sasuke arm. Sasuke was sure his arm was asleep and would be sore for the remainder of the week. Hence him not being able to make breakfast.

But...

He glanced at Naruto trying to sleep again.

That doesn't really matter, now does it?

Eeeh. I don't know how I feel about this one. It's a prompt given to me, and I like the prompt, but my mind is dead right now, so the plot fairies avoided me. Tell me what you think (be nice!) because reviews are appreciated.
