Setting: After the events of Ruby and Sapphire arc Sapphire decided to become the champion which is a decition she will always regret.

Sapphire POV: As she sat in the waiting room waiting for the next challenger to come fight her. Sitting in her chair trying to kill time by watching TV. She always remained sad depressed at the fact she couldn't leave the room unless there is a catastrophe in Hoen or if the Director of the pokemon association let her. She wished that at least she could get visitors or at least phone calls but neverless that was just another burden of being a champion. She now understood why Walece did not accept his role of the champion he knew about the burdens there were she didn't. She missises it all her freedom her friends her family she missed playing with her pokemon. But most of all she missed him. If only she could see the thing she missed the most. She remembers when he accompanied her through victory road without him she never would have gotten out of there or have won against Walece the champion his intense training and tips he gave her were the things that got her through if only there were a catastrophe or an excuse so she could go outside and be free again she just wished. As another challenger stepped in pumped to battle with a smile in his face she felt sad that she had to defeat the young trainer but she was doing him a favor she was sparing his freedom.

Sapphire was board out her mind she just wish something interesting would happen. She was about to take nap when suddenly on the speaker in her room annoced

Champion Sapphire Birch please report to the hall of fame!

Sapphire instantly recognized the voice on the speaker it was the director of Pokémon association.

She rushed over to the hall of fame hopping for something interesting to happen. But little did she know that what waited ahead would be her most dangerous adventure yet.
