Written cause the Counterpart feels hit me hard. Why? Hell if I know... they just did as I'd like to believe that they are dueling together now, in a way. Bringing ... smiles... *sniff* ... oh god...
Vector: Well, while she cries over the loss of one of her OTP's (it seems), we will proceed with the story, now written by yours truly!
Me: One wrong move and I'm sicking Rio on you...
Vector: *vanishes in a portal just in case*
Me: That's what I thought! But he is right, on with the drabble...
Warning: May contain some spoilers from the preview for episode 62 of Arc-V.
Never Forgotten
Yuya stood silently beside Crow as they all cheered on Sawatari, who was the one dueling the Enjoy man now.
He, on the other hand, cheered with them when Sawatari made a good move but it wasn't really filled with joy. After all, how could it be since he was remembering the person who sacrificed his life for him?
Frowning, the young duelist forced a smile on his face as he began to cheer for the blonde with the others, after Crow asked if he was feeling alright.
Alright? Was he feeling alright? The answer was yes and no.
He was alright in the sense that he knew that Reira-kun was safe with Tsukikage. He was alright, too, knowing that they would save Yuzu one day (considering that she was likely with them here, after all, what other reason would the Duel Chasers have for cornering them when they first stepped foot into this dimension? He had figured that they must have confused Serena with Yuzu, which means that they must have seen his pink-haired friend beforehand. That gave him hope too).
But he wasn't alright, knowing that the person who died in his arms will likely never smile again.
Smile at him. For him.
But that didn't matter because Yuya would never forget him.
And yes, Vector will be keeping me company in some of the future one-shots/drabbles (Yay?) and yes that was an implication of Gorgonicshipping. Now, kindly revert your attention back to the Counterpart drabble.
Thank you for reading! :)
