Squall sat in bed, holding a note from Cloud saying that he was gone pretty much for good this time. Tears fell from his eyes as he ripped up the note and got out of bed. As he got dressed he noticed Cloud's side of the bed was made up like it was every time that he left.

Squall remembered the first times Cloud left. The blonde said that he'd be back and kissed him gently before walking out of the house. After that day, every step that Squall counted as the blonde left, his heart broke more and more. The words need needed to hear from him was gone. Squall broke down. He really missed Cloud, and he really needed Cloud beside him as he cried.
"I've never felt this way before
Everything I do reminds me of you
And the clothes you left they lie on the floor
And they smell just like you I love the things that you do"
Squall walked around the marketplace of Hollow Bastion, remembering the times that he would look over the ledge and watch as Cloud paced back and forth. He walked away and passed the alleyway they used to sneak into and kiss. He talked to no one. They tried to get Squall to talk and tell them what was wrong, but he just walked away. He walked back home and walked into their room. He looked around the room, the place where they shared everything. The only place that he ever had Cloud to himself, where the blonde would lie in Squall's arms after along day and they talked about everything. Squall glanced at the stuff Cloud had left, his clothes still scattered on the floor and the pictures of the two of them together. Squall sat down on the bed and punched the wall. He couldn't stand be away from his blonde for too long and now he was gone for good.

Squall stepped out and looked over the ledge of the bailey. He stood there awhile; a single tear fell from his eyes, hardly able to breathe as he thought of Cloud turning away from him. The torn up note that Cloud wrote was clinched in his fist, along with a new note that he wrote him self that was sealed in an envelope. He threw them both over the Bailey wall; knowing no one will ever read them.

I know you left for a good reason, but I need you here with me. I can't stand not being with you. I love you Cloud and I know that you love me. So please come back to me, I feel like I can't breathe without you. You can take your time but I need you more than you'll ever know. You're everything to me.
