100 word drabble written to celebrate two years on the site. This is also my first FMA fic. I'm not terribly proud of it, but I had to whip it up right quick because of Camp NaNoWriMo. I don't think I did the relationship between Ed and Al justice, but... the best of things only find words harmful.
So yeah... enjoy.
They were brothers.
Everyone knew this. Edward and Alphonse Elric shared the same parents, the same family. Biologically, they were related.
But they were held together in a way one could only perceive, not describe.
When they were younger, before their mother's death, Ed took care of Al. After their mother died and they attempted human transmutation, however, they cared for each other. Physical trauma and emotional pain brought them closer together, made them both rely on each other's strength.
And this metaphysical bond made them true brothers.
