Swift night wind blew across her pale, emotionless face…
The petite figure shivered in the midst of darkness, her white dress being the only light colored object surrounded by the darkest of the nights. Around her, trees - maple, willow, all kinds of them, shifted with the wind. The rustling sound of their leaves resounded across the whole area, as if whispering to each others about dark secrets that must never be revealed…
The girl in the white dress turned around slowly. A fearsome dark purple aura emitted within her body. Her eyes that were empty a moment ago was now filled with an emotion one would call "hatred". Slowly, from out of nowhere she took out something silvery and metallic. Chilly, pale moonlight shone on the object, creating an even brighter and colder light.
The knife fell followed by a loud, piercing shriek…
"The activities started last month. Books were flying in the living room. Footsteps could be heard going down to the basement at night. My little sister Misao told me she saw a person in a white dress outside her bedroom window..." The cilent Hazuki-san, a young woman in her early twenties, closed her eyes and put a hand onto her forehead. "Then... I was cooking dinner one night when suddenly..."
Hazuki lowered her head. "All lights were turned off for a moment, and when they turned back on, I saw words, blood red words, written across the kitchen wall."
"What did it say?" Mai asked from the kitchen where she was making tea. Naru gave the girl a look telling her to be quiet and motioned Hazuki to continue.
"They killed me..."
Naru put down his notepad and pen before standing up. "We'll take the case. Please prepare rooms for 7 people and a larger one for the base. We'll arrive at your house on Saturday 10am sharp."
