Itachi sighed. He had a killer migraine and he was pissed about it. Deidara was not helping and neither was Sasori. The base was being repaired, and Pein had asked Sasori to do it because he was experienced in building. He also told him that he could use anyone he wanted to help. Of course, Hidan and Kisame were his first choices but he and Kisame had just gotten back from a mission so Sasori had to make do with Hidan and Deidara. Deidara was using his exploding clay to demolish the already wrecked portions of the base and Hidan was making it so you could walk through the base without stepping on nails splinters or having an iron pipe hitting you in the head.

Kisame and Itachi had arrived back to base to find it in utter chaos. Pein and Sasori were yelling orders, Deidara blowing up anything in sight, Hidan yelling curses and dodging explosions, and Tobi was, well, being Tobi. Kakuzu had been locked in the basement by Konan...

Kisame had given his report to Pein and told Itachi to try and get some sleep, which was not proving easy. The explosions and shouting continued, and so did the headache. Itachi pulled his pillow over his head in an attempt to block out the noise. He sighed once again at his failure.

After about an hour it started to get dark, and things started quieting down. Itachi sighed once again, but this time in relief. Now nothing would disturb his well-deserved rest. Itachi had just started to dose off when the door to his shared bedroom opened and his roommate and best friend walked through and, as quietly as possible, closed the door. Itachi mouth twitched upward slightly. He really liked that Kisame tried so hard to be quiet when he had a headache or give him space when he was pissed off.

"Itachi are you awake?" Kisame whispered, so as not to wake him if he was.

Itachi rolled over to look at him. He had deactivated his sharringan. It was overuse of the sharringan that gave him these horrible migraines in the first place. He stared at Kisame with his dark beautiful eyes.

"Oh, I didn't wake you up did I?" the shark man asked

"No"

"Ok good" there was a moment's silence where they both stared at each other

"So what's up?" Itachi asked

"Oh right, I wanted to know if I could try something to get rid of your headache" Kisame grinned

"I'm not going to like this am I?" Itachi asked warily.

"Maybe" Kisame said slyly.

"Ok fine then, do whatever, I've had enough of this headache." Itachi sat up then stood. Kisame motioned to Itachi desk chair. Itachi walked over and sat. Kisame pushed his own chair over behind Itachi. Pulling a bottle of lavender scented lotion seemingly out of nowhere; he placed it on Itachis desk. The raven raised an eyebrow as Kisame slid down the sleeves of said raven's shirt until his bare shoulders were visible. Underneath all the clothes he wore, he was really quite delicately built.

"Relax" Kisame stated as he started to rub the lavender lotion on his shoulders. Itachi tried his best to do what his best friend said but found it difficult. He was just too high strung of a person to relax so easily. "If you don't relax, this won't work." Kisame warned.

Itachi visibly released the tension in his shoulders. "That's better" the blue skinned shark said softly, gently rubbing the back of the raven's neck until Itachi let out a sigh of relief. He tipped Itachis head back and started massaging his temples. Kisame continued for another few minutes before pulling his hands away and whispering in Itachi ear.

"Any better?" he asked. Itachi turned his head around and smiled at him as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
