ENJOYYYY! :D

(The words in Italics are Sam's thoughts)

I can't let him know. It may be too soon to tell him. I might scare him away. What difference does it make? We just broke up. Might as well tell him. Sam thought of these things as she stood a couple of inches in front of Freddie in the elevator. As soon as the elevator came to a stop, the door opened, she was gonna say it, but a sudden change came to mind, she looked over at him, secretly waiting for him to say it first. They just exchanged looks, so she just took a step forward, leaving Freddie behind.

She felt like she wanted to run and leave, never to come back again. No one would understand, except for him. But now she lost him too. Why did she trust this feeling she's had for a long time? She couldn't have just kept her lips to herself, and kept the love/hate relationship going on without her losing him. He means a lot to me. I love him, but I get it. Maybe he just had a thing for me cause I liked him, and now he's over me. I mean, who would fall in love with someone who kicked you out of your "Training Bros." Nerd Geek Club-thing, whatever it's called. With that stupid 1952 Trudge Master moving at negative miles per hour. She kept walking, Freddie following her, thumbs in his pocket. He too, hadn't said anything.

They had reached the entrance of Bushwell Plaza, they stopped in front of the door, next to each other, since they both knew Sam had to go home, so Freddie had brought her to the door to say goodbye. This wasn't just "Bye, Sam. See you tomorrow.". No. This was "Goodbye kisses, goodbye hugs, goodbye dates, goodbye beautiful relationship."

It was already 10:49 pm, and Lewbert had already fallen asleep on the counter, but surprisingly not snoring. So it was just the two of them. It was exceptionally quiet in the lobby. As Sam once said, "You could feel the awkward." She looked over at Freddie, who met his eyes with hers. Their expressions were both washed with pain, no trying to hide it now. It was too late to hide their feelings, so Sam finally spoke.

"So, I guess I should be going," she shrugged and took a step forward, "…dork." She smiled a faint smile as she was leaving. She pushed the door open, looked at the cold night sky in Seattle, as she felt tears forming in her eyes. But as she was about to step out, she saw an arm pull the door to a close again.

"I love you," Freddie had said, looking in those sea-blue eyes, "always have", smiling like he finally let something out of his chest, "…always will." He looked at her as she felt the pools in her eyes starting to overflow. "Likewise." She smirked, as she punched his arm playfully. He smiled, and pulled her into a sweet soft long-lasting peck.

He pulled away, and stuck their foreheads together. His hands were on either side of her face, as she placed her hands around his, still smiling. "When we're ready?" He asked, kissing her again.

"When we're ready." She smiled back.
