As I look back on my life

I see times of sorrow,

Times of love,

Times of boredom,

And times of great joy.

But when I look back carefully;

I see you in times of good,

And I'm not alone in times of bad.

I look back at you and see the light

I see me standing alone

But it just doesn't look right.

I look further back And I see a little girl,

Walking through the park

All alone and in the dark

But you grabbed her hand And led her to the promised land.
