Prologue ~The Warrior and the Priestess.~
The soft dawn sunlight trickled through the leaves down into the small forest clearing where it made the red, yellow and blue flowers sparkle. At the very centre of the clearing there a large tree stump covered in moss and lichen with a few shelf fungi making a sort of staircase to the top of it, the stump also had a door and a few windows.
A gentle wind came blowing, it made the flowers sway but the branches on the trees above did not move, the wind was a weak one but it did not come alone. A creature was gliding on the wind using its large bunny ears, it was no larger than a hand and all of the body was covered in a carefully blue fur and face was marred with fear.
"Zosono!" The creatures high pitched scream shattered the peace. "Zosonooo!" It flapped its ears to gain some altitude while its eyes remained focused on the tree stump. "Help!"
The door to the stump flew open with such force that that the shelf fungi shook, a brown tanned creature larger than the first one by the double, came through the door with its long black braid trailing on the ground behind it. "Oiishaa!" The black scar on the left side of his face stretched as he screamed.
"They're here..." The smaller creature, Oiishaa, said with her voice weakening. "Stürm."
The brown tanned creature closed his eyes, took a deep breath and the scar on the left side of his face, that scar that curved all the way from the eyebrow and down to the chin, began to glow crimson. "It is time that I embrace my cursed destiny." He opened his eyes again and they were damp, looked up at Oiishaa as the pale blue creature landed before him. "Pick one of each flower and bring them to Erdes-Tor, use the words taught to you by your Mother, find the Purikyua and later I will see you in the next world."
Oiisha looked at her brother with the weight of his words on her mind, and with tear filled eyes just like his, she nodded. The next moment she flew up and threw her arms around him, squeezed him tight against herself, curled her ears around his head and whispered. "Take care."
"I will try." Zosono replied freeing himself of her embrace. "We have to hurry now." Gave his sister a last loving look before he leapt into the air with the braid billowing behind him.
Oiisha traced her brother until he had vanished among the leaves then she turned her attention towards the flowers and picked one of each, a red flower, a yellow flower and a blue flower before she jumped into the air and after flapping her ears frantically she became airborne. Found that gently wind and once more it aided her as she moved between trees and over bushes, across a small river as the forest became thinner, in the distance a grassland opened up and there she saw Erdes-Tor. That small pyramid with a square pillar in each corner was the passage between two worlds, her own, and the next one in line to ruined by Stürm.
With a heavy exhales she reached the Erdes-Tor, landed clumsily holding the flowers close to her body as she tried to find a voice to utter the words her mother had taught her. "Nagisa." She inhaled deeply. "Honoka, Hikari." The pyramid answered her call and began to open, the lightning pouring out of it was absorbed by the the four pillars and soon the power of the next world would swallow her.
"You fairies have always been predictable." A horrible voice spoke just as the lightning stole Oiisha away.
