There aren't many Brooke nakamaship pairings, so I decided to make my own! :D Sanji's voice actor (in my opinion) is a very good singer, and so I combined Bink's Sake with Brooke and Sanji and wrote this short nakamaship pairing! Enjoy!

Bink's Sake
The golden moon shone brightly over the Thousand Sunny. The silver stars twinkled and smiled as they shone on the indigo colored sky. The Thousand Sunny's deck was deserted, all except for one lone figure that was sitting on the Crow's Nest.
Brooke looked up at the night sky. He remembered that he had once, too, sat in the Crow's Nest and stared up at the stars. Once, when he was still alive. Once, when he was still a crewmate of the Rumbar Pirates'. And twice, after he had come back alive. He had stared at the stars. Ah, how nostalgic it was. He had stared at the stars with his former captain when he had first joined the crew. And he had pulled out his violin and played Bink's Sake to his captain.
Brooke pulled the violin he had treasured and had for more than fifty years. Despite the fact that it was old, it was still very in tact, and could play a song sweeter than a bird's chirp. Brooke placed the violin on his shoulder, and rested his chin on the violin. He began to play.
The sweet, melodic music of Brooke's playing swept through the Thousand Sunny, and was quickly followed by Brooke's matching singing.
"Binkusu no sake wo,
todoke ni yuku yo
Umikaze kimakase
namimakase…."
Little did Brooke know that his singing had awakened another crewmate.
"Shio no mukou de, yuuhi mo sawagu,"
A voice blended into harmony with Brooke's. Brooke ceased singing, and turned to look at the figure that had joined him.
"Ah, Sanji-san." Brooke said. The blonde cook strode out of the shadows and joined him. "I didn't mean to disrupt your sleep."
"It's alright." Sanji sat down next to Brooke, and looked up at the stars. "Beautiful, aren't they?"
"Yes, indeed." Brooke said, putting his violin down next to him.
"Just like Nami-swan and Robin-chwan…" Sanji sighed.
"And their panties!" Brooke piped.
Sanji bonked Brooke on the head, and for a few minutes, they sat in silence, Brooke nursing the bump that was forming on his skin. (Though he had no skin! Skull Joke! Yohohoho!)
"Do you miss your crew mates sometimes?" Sanji asked, still staring at the stars.
Brooke nodded. "Though I have such a wonderful crew right now, but they are not the Rumbar Pirates."
"I can relate." Sanji said, and Brooke looked at Sanji in surprise. "Before I joined the crew, I was working at this pirate restaurant called the Baratie. It was a good place, and sometimes I miss that old crappy geezer and those idiots."
"But surely you have something to remember them by, Sanji-san." Brooke said.
"I do." Sanji smiled. He patted his back. "Those bruises that crappy geezer gave me still hurt, even though they healed."
"Yohohoho! They must be very painful, then!"
"Yes, very."
"Sanji-san, why don't you sing with me?"
"Sorry, I'm not that good."
"You sure? Just once, Sanji-san!"
"Fine."
And so the musician and the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates sang, and sang until morning rose.
"Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho,
Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho,
Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho,
Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho…."
Well, at least until Zoro screamed at them to shut up.
End
Did you like it? I have to say, it wasn't very short, and it didn't come out as good as I thought, but I'm still very pleased with it! I hope you liked it! Reviews Greatly Appreciated!
