Teenage Dream

Blaine had liked Kurt for such a long time, but living at Dalton, he rarely saw Kurt. For Valentine's Day though, He wanted to do something special for Kurt. To express his feelings of love. And because both boys loved to sing, why not put together a string of love songs for Kurt? Blaine sat at his computer, and looked up "Famous Love Songs". His results were everything from "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion to "Baby" by Justin Bieber. He didn't know what would make Kurt feel good though. He thought "Kurt's favorite musical is Wicked, so it MUST be in there!", but which song to choose?

After three hours of singing and stringing songs together, Blaine decided he was ready. Valentine's Day was Friday, and it was already Wednesday. He decided that he would skip Dalton that day, and go right to the Glee Club to find Kurt, where he would sing "Teenage Dream", his already-favorite song about Kurt, "Friday I'm in Love With You", by The Cure, "For Good", from Kurt's favorite musical, Wicked, and for the ending, "Songbird", by Fleetwood Mac, a song that Kurt had once sang to Blaine.

On Thursday night, Blaine had practiced so much, he knew all the songs by heart now. He decided he was ready. "I mean, How hard could singing a couple silly love songs and giving a single red rose to Kurt be?", he thought. Then, he thought again. He had sang to hundreds of people before, but Kurt... Kurt was different. THIS time was different. He wasn't just singing to some crowd of complete strangers who just came to see a bunch of guys in funny suits, he was singing LOVE SONGS to his crush. "Oh God, help me!", he thought, as he drifted off to sleep.

The next day, Kurt arrived to the Glee club, to find Blaine sitting on his chair. "What the...?", he began. But before he could finish, Blaine rushed to him, grabbed his hands, and started the beginning of his favorite song to Kurt.

You think i'm pretty, without any makeup on,

You think i'm funny, when I tell the punch line wrong,

I know you get me, so I let my walls come down,

...Down...

By the end of the song, everybody was staring at Kurt as he was being forced to ballroom dance with Blaine. Spinning, Twirling, Dipping, it was too much. "How could someone like Blaine like someone like me?", he thought. But by the time Blaine was finished with Songbird, Kurt was in tears. "Why?", he asked Blaine. "Because I love you, silly!", he replied with that funny grin of his. Before Blaine could say anything else, Kurt had him pinned on the piano, kissing him gently, yet hard at the same time. When they released, Blaine pulled out the single red rose and whispered "Will you be my Valentine Kurt?" "Always and forever, my Teenage Dream", he replied with tears streaming down his face.
