I love NaLu so here's a one-shot about just that. Thank you for reading! Please review or/and favorite. And sorry for language and um...other implied stuff.
Disclaimer: I don't own Fairy Tail!
"Fuck!" I screamed. "You fucking stood me up for another girl. Actually five girls. I can't believe I ever thought we could do this!" I made a wild gesture between us. "You were known for being a player and I thought you could change. I thought you didn't fucking need girls hanging off of you, but I was wrong Loke. I was fucking wrong."
"Lucy just calm down. Seriously, do you know how many times you just said fuck? I mean, I thought you were a writer." Loke smirked. That douche just brushed it off. He smiled like it was no big deal. Like we hadn't spent a year dating and now he just suddenly wants to start doing random flings with girls.
I turned away. "I am done with you. Go to fucking hell!" I spun and slapped as hard as I could making a satisfying smacking noise.
Finally he flinched but the moment was fleeting as he straitened and brushed past me.
My eyes burned and I ran to my dorm room. Maybe Levy would be awake to support me. As I neared the hall I flinched. A loud moan came from my room. Levy! Why did you have to hook up with Gajeel now? Ithought. Whatever. I'll just hang out in the park and then crash in a hotel until he leaves. And hopefully I can find a bar near campus.
I swiftly walked down the halls and opened doors until I reached the outside. I walked across the grass and looked for a shop that looked promising. Not finding anything, I zipped to the park I passed earlier. As I walked, it started sprinkling. The street was damp and smelled like fresh rain hitting a hot pavement which, of course, was the case. I discovered the skies weren't the only things clouding up. I cried. Tears streamed down my face, the rain soaked my blue and white outfit, making it more see-through than I was comfortable with. Water pooled all around me so that I could hardly see. Squinting, I made out a swing set a few paces away. I plopped down on the wet seat and shivered. I was soaked, cold, angry, sad, room-less, and boyfriend-less. Numb I kicked my legs and stared and the dark, imposing clouds.
I could really go for some beer now. As if someone had granted me my wish, I heard a hiccup. Then a plop and saw a pink haired, flushed male sitting right in front of me, carrying a pack of beer. "Care for a drink," he slurred. He was so drunk and this was such a bad idea but whatever.
I popped open the can he offered and took a long gulp.
"Looked like you needed that," he laughed. He took another swig and belched. "I'm all fired up now!" His eyes sparked and I giggled. Normally I'd be scared out of my wits but today was definitely special.
"Lissana." His eyes misted. "I wish you were here. I wish you could see what a fool I am. I promised you. I'm sorry," he babbled but seemed more sober than before.
I finished my can feeling woozy. I was such a terrible drinker. "What's your name hot stuff?" I giggled and fell of my swing into his lap.
"Natsu. I am a dragon!" He roared, looking incredibly proud.
"Natsu the Dragon meet Lucy Heartbroken." I reached out a hand and he took it, looking mournful.
"Heartbroken?" He asked.
"Boys. Enough is never actually enough. Boyfriends suck." I replied. I raised my head daring him to argue.
"If you think that you must meet Loke the Heartbreaker." He said looking into my brown eyes so seriously I laughed again.
But then I remembered and began bawling. "Loke, poke, bad Loke!" I snorted and cried. I grabbed another can and chugged. Losing all sense, I wiggled into Natsu's soaked lap and basked in his warmth.
"Heartbreakers and the Heartbroken. What a fitting match." He made a rumbling noise and it took me a while to realize he was laughing.
I touched his mouth and opened it examining his sharp teeth. "Dragon teeth." Then I fell into a fit of giggles.
He nuzzled my neck. "I think you need some company. Who can stand the shower of pain and rain alone?"
"You rhymed! Your so smart!" I looked up at him and admired his strong face and messed up hair.
"Well Luce, when you become a dragon you get to be real smart."
"Wow! You remembered my name and made it better!"
I hugged him and smelled smoke on his shirt. "I like you Natsu the Dragon."
He grinned, "I like you too Luce Heartbroken."
We stayed like that in the rain, enjoying each other's company and when my lips reached up to meet his, I was purely happy, just like a wacky fairy tail.
