Past, Present, and Future
No one knows what is in the future,
Only what has come and gone.
And even though we took that path,
The past can nip us on the heels.
The path we took to get here,
Has all but been forgotten.
Through anger, sadness, death, and life,
The way we go now is unforeseen.
The Shire was the past,
The Land of Mordor is the present.
The great unknown is the future,
But what the future is we do not know.
The ring is gone and Frodo alive,
So maybe the Shire is our future.
Or maybe back to Lorien, or to Rivendell,
All that Mr. Frodo and I know is that the future is in front of us and the
past behind.
Now that the ring of power is no longer in control,
Things will maybe go back to the ways of old.
Mr. Frodo the other and I will finally be able to go home to our families,
If any now remain.
And hopefully none will know of what happened to four hobbits from the
shire.
