I have been meaning to write a sequel to the one shot I made a few years back. But then, a lot of things happened and prevented me from doing so. Yet, the eagerness remained.
Since I was taking a break from my current fics, I decided to give this a go now. This is probably one of the weirdest plot I ever had. I hope it will come out good.
Disclaimer : I do not own any of the characters. I only own the plot. Enough said.
Warning : This is Yaoi. If this bothers you, please exit the page. I am not a professional writer, I do this merely for my personal amusement. Any spelling or grammar errors were not intended. I hope you understand. I am just a human that can err.
Time frame on this fic happened before Itachi's last fight with Sasuke.
Thank you for taking time to read this. I hope you will like it.
UNTIL THEN
The loud chirping of the birds woke Itachi up. It was finally morning and he can see the sunlight pouring from the cracks on the wall of his closed room.
He got up and walked towards the barred window. He removed the wooden panel and opened the frame up.
His eyes gazed at the beautiful morning and he took a deep breath.
This was probably the last time that he can do something as simple as this. Despite the peace and beauty the day showed and promised, Itachi knew that this would not last.
For him, at least.
Something in the wind told him that his end was getting near. And the wind never lied to him.
He inhaled deeply, loving the feel of the cool wind against his skin. A few strands tickled his cheek. He automatically tucked the stray hair behind his ear.
He decided to go out and fulfill the plan he had. This plan always troubled him, leaving him awake for many nights. He decided to go forth with it, for he believed that today was the only chance he had... he had to do it, or it would be too late.
He moved leisurely, folding his blankets and arranging his bed. He even took time with his bath, enjoying the luxury of shampooing his hair and even found time to use scented oil on his body. If he remembered correctly, Konan gave that bottle to him for his birthday.
When he was done, he roamed his eyes all over his room. His only place of sanctuary. Mentally, he bid his farewell. He will not come back here anymore.
He closed the door and left. He didn't own much and nothing left in that room was important to him. He knew that soon - once he meets his end, that room will be assigned to someone else. Such is life, a continuous cycle of arriving and leaving.
He knew by looking at the shadows from the trees that is was already noon. He made his journey back to Konoha. The home he left many years ago. The place that tagged him as a traitor... a murderer... and all the ugly things he never truly was.
He had to come back... he just had to...
He can feel it through his veins... he can hear it in his mind... it was like a Siren's song that no one can deny... He knew it... he felt it...
He was still alive... he had to be...
Hidan.
The immortal man never left Itachi's thoughts. Their first encounter was embedded into Itachi's heart and mind deeply. A memory so intense, that the flashbacks brought Itachi back to all his firsts... his beginnings.
He fought hard not to remember it, trying to focus on things that were more applicable at this moment of time. The world was at war and Itachi knew he had no time to reminisce.
But unconsciously, he did. His retentive memory replayed that scene, that exact moment when he surrendered his all. He can still feel Hidan's warm breath all over him. The sensation those calloused hands gave him. The pleasure of the immortal's hardness in him.
Hidan was his first.
He will be his only.
He will be his last.
Itachi reached the edge of the forest that settled in the boundary of Konoha. It was quiet, he had to be alert. He activated his Sharingan and surveyed the area for any traps and was glad he found none.
The Nara clan, were smart. Though he did not see any traps, he still did not let his guard down. On top of a sturdy branch, Itachi closed his eyes and started to concentrate. He had to find him.
There! His eyes automatically flew open. He sensed him.
His hunches were right. Hidan was still alive!
Creating a few clones, he ordered them to retrieve the severed head. He kept watch as the clones got to work, digging quitely until the reason of his return to his village was retrieved.
Not wanting to alarm anyone in Konoha, the clone gently placed the detached head into Itachi's waiting arms. Upon contact, Itachi ran. He ran as fast as his legs can carry him. The clones cleaned their work and disappeared. Any trace of the excavation was gone as well.
"Itachi?" Hidan's gruff voice broke the silence.
Itachi came to a halt.
Looking down at the bundle in his arms, he saw Hidan open his eyes.
The man looked tired and dark circles were around his eyes. Hidan was simply amazing. To be still alive in that state was a feat only he can do.
"Hello, Hidan." he greeted the man. He saw the man smile at him.
"What brought this?" he asked as he coughed. Itachi just smiled and started running again, until he reached the heart of the forest near the Akatsuki's lair.
He removed his cloak and placed it on the ground. He placed Hidan gently and took a piece of cloth from his pocket and submerged it on the flowing water.
"Lad, what brought this?" he asked again.
Silently, Itachi began to wipe the wet cloth on Hidan's face. He gently cleaned the handsome yet arrogant face. Hidan's immortality would always be a mystery to him, as well as the other who have met the Jashinist. He didn't want to ask questions about this. He was just glad that the man was still living.
"I am talking to you. Why do you not answer me?" Hidan spat angrily.
Itachi stared into the magenta eyes. Hidan would always be Hidan... Hot-tempered, ungrateful, impatient and most of all wanted... by him.
"Is it too difficult to understand that I am saving a comrade?" Itachi asked. Hidan gave a sarcastic chortle.
"I do not need saving. I do not need any help. I..." Hidan stopped in disbelief. Surely he wasn't hearing things.
"What?" he asked. Itachi chuckled as he ran his slend fingers on Hidan's now-clean hair, arranging it in a fashion that it did not cover his eyes anymore.
"I believe you heard me." the raven spoke.
"I wanted to make sure I was not hearing things. Being underground for that long can cause my senses to deteriorate." the silver-haired man reasoned.
Itachi just laughed again. Hidan looked at the boy that intrigued him years back. He was now all grown up. And just as he expected, Itachi grew up into a very fine man.
"You will not make me repeat that." the raven stated. The cold and stoic Uchiha was somehow different. He was not silent and reserved. Right now, he was more - real.
"I want to hear it again, Itachi." Hidan stated. His voice softened and with that tone, he saw the soft gleam on Itachi's dark eyes.
"I said, I wanted to see you..." Itachi said. Hidan closed his eyes and sighed.
"You are lying, boy. I heard something else." he huffed.
"You are simply impossible." Itachi commented.
"You fuckin' took me out of that blasted hole. You are supposed to expect this from me, dammit!" Hidan cursed.
The cursing and the foul language was like music to Itachi's ears. He missed hearing Hidan's way of speech. It was funny he found that trait, endearing.
"I said, I missed talking to you. Are you happy now?" Itachi said, amused at where this conversation was leading.
"That is much better. It is not that difficult to be honest, isn't it? Why do you have to lie to me?" Hidan asked.
"I did not mean to lie." Itachi confessed.
"Really, Itachi. What brought this? What do you want?" Hidan asked.
Itachi sat before the head and crossed his legs. "I will be leaving, Hidan." he silently said.
"What do you mean, lad?" the older man asked. Itachi looked at Hidan and for some unknown reason, he felt comforted.
"I can sense that my end is getting near. Our comrades, they have fallen one by one." Itachi stated and he saw that the Jashinist agreed.
"The world is indeed changing." he commented. Itachi nodded.
"But not everything, Hidan." he whispered.
Hidan looked at Itachi and burrowed his brows. Yes, Itachi did tell him he missed talking to him. It was a stupid reason to risk his life going back to Konoha to retrieve his incapacitated head.
Though it did make him feel good - to all that was left of him, knowing that the boy still thought of him. But then, he needed a deeper reason. He wanted the entire truth from the raven-haired man.
Hidan was not a man of flowery words and hidden meanings. He was painfully blunt and honest. He did not see any reason to lie to someone.
"What do you mean, not everything?" he asked.
Itachi smiled, his usual knowing smile. Hidan sighed. If he had his arms, he would grab Itachi and force him to spill the things running in his pretty head.
Yes, Itachi was still beautiful in his eyes. Even more than the first time they met.
Age did wonders to Itachi : his dark hair was still long - much longer now than his old shoulder length one; his skin remained creamy and light; his face was still breath-taking. Age changed Itachi and he aged beautifully.
Everything about the raven still affected Hidan in a way he could never explain. Just like the way it did before.
Itachi gently lifted Hidan's head to his eye-level. The Jashinist realized that the place they were at was familiar.
If he was not mistaken, this was the place where it all happened.
Itachi saw the hint of recognition on Hidan's magenta eyes.
"I missed you, Hidan. For many years now..." he whispered.
Hidan gazed at the obsidian orbs. Traces of pain mirrored from the depths of those dangerous eyes.
"I always wanted to see you. To be with you. But I was scared..." he continued. "I was afraid of being a nuisance to you." he confessed.
Hidan looked at Itachi, but the raven's eyes strayed away. "Look at me, Itachi." he ordered.
"Why are you telling me these now?" he asked.
"I know." he nodded. "It's very stupid of me to do so. I was trapped with my own nightmares, wallowing in my misery. I should have thought about myself." his pained laugh echoed about.
"To answer your question, I thought that maybe - maybe in the last moment of my existence, it will be spent happily with you." he sighed.
"How can this be a happy reunion, Itachi?" Hidan asked with a painful tone. Itachi understood what the man meant. He have thought about that as well. And perhaps, Hidan would agree...
"Nothing is impossible..." he whispered into Hidan's ear. The silver-haired man stared, in awe at the lazy swirl of the dark tomoes appeared on Itachi's eyes as it bled red. Hidan blinked and was surprised, he was now whole again.
"What is this?" he asked Itachi who was still seated before him. He looked and moved his hands and his legs. Kami, it looked real... it felt real. But he knew it wasn't. For all the great power Itachi had, making him whole again was nothing the raven can do.
He knew he was in a trance. This must be one of the numerous skills the Sharingan eye had. He reached out for Itachi and felt his soft skin on his fingertips. He got a clump of Itachi's smooth, dark locks and raised it to his nose... damn, he smelled wonderful!
"How can this be?" he asked. Itachi smiled as he caresses his cheek.
"I wanted you to be with me." he stated.
"I want to, Itachi. But not like this." he whispered as he released the hair.
"Is it to much for you, Hidan?" Itachi asked.
"It is too unreal. I do not like it..." he honestly said.
Itachi nodded and understood. Hidan was used to pain and the realities of life. He did not need a fantasy-world to live in. Itachi closed his eyes and the illusion was dispelled.
"Thank you..." Hidan whispered.
"For what?" Itachi asked.
"For coming back for me..." he said and smiled. Itachi smiled as well and nodded.
"Do you know how you will die?" Hidan asked. Itachi shrugged.
"I do not have the gift of prophecy. But I just know it is near." he said. He placed Hidan down as he looked up in to the sky.
"Kiss me, Itachi." Itachi looked at Hidan. Was it possible for him to feel anything if he gave in to that request?
Without a word, he picked Hidan's head and gently placed his lips on the man's forehead.
"So, I am fucking too old for you now. To be kissed there, dammit!" he complained with a pout. Itachi grinned. "You ask me impossible things." Itachi retorted.
"You know, nothing is impossible - you told me that yourself." Hidan reason.
"How?" Itachi asked. He felt his heart give a few unstable beats. He was about to be content with just talking to Hidan. But it seemed that the man had other plans.
"I will tell you what to do." he stated in a tone that made Itachi's blood start to boil. Was something like this even possible?
"Kiss me..." the man asked and Itachi decided to oblige. Bringing Hidan's head near his face, he brought the precious cargo closer and when their lips met - Itachi knew he was now back in paradise.
He melted into Hidan's kiss. And as their tongues danced and fought for dominance, Itachi never thought he could miss someone as bad as he missed the immortal Jashinist.
His hand moved and adjusted automatically, guiding Hidan's head to the slants, tilts and to the way he wanted to be kissed.
He sighed. The man can kiss and he welcomed the skilled tongue with open arms.
"Let me kiss your eyes, Itachi..." Hidan murmured against his lips. He brought the head up and Hidan kissed his eyes... left... right... Itachi led the man's head towards his neck...
"You smell so good, Itachi..." Hidan said as he gently gave the soft skin a nip. Itachi's hands trembled. But he steadied his hold as not to drop his lover's head.
His lover - now that was a beautiful thought. Was Hidan really his lover? Perhaps that was a yes, in a way.
"Show me where you want me to kiss you..." Hidan stated, making Itachi shiver. Itachi placed the head down for a moment to be able to remove his shirt off.
"Remove everything, Itachi..." Hidan ordered. Itachi inhaled deeply. It was broad daylight and though they were hidden in the heart of the forest, Itachi was not sure that they were safe. Someone can always attack them, especially if his guard is left down.
Oh, but he wanted this to happen! He dreamt of this and he was getting too turned on to deny his carnal desires.
Hidan's contact with Itachi was something he never expected to successfully happen. And from that moment, he honestly didn't engage with anyone anymore. No one caught his attention. Itachi had him enamored and the feeling just seemed to grow deeper until now.
He removed his shirt off and slowly unbuttoned his pants as well. Soon he stood before Hidan in all his naked glory. His dark hair swayed against the breeze and fell like a curtain of dark silk on his back.
Hidan wished nothing more right now but to touch his young lover. To feel that silky skin and to hold Itachi in his arms. He wished that he had the power to recreate... he would be willing to trade his immortality for that.
But then, thank Jashin for his immortality. He still had enough life force to savor his lover... may it be the last time.
"Itachi, make a clone for me." he ordered the raven who nodded.
With a blink of an eye, an exact replica of Itachi appeared.
"Free your hands." Hidan ordered. The clone took the detached head from the coat and raised it towards Itachi's chest. Hidan gently licked a rosey nipple and earned a groan from the raven.
"Hidan, this can't be possible..." he whispered. Hidan grinned. Itachi was just too sexy when he was aroused.
"Shut the fuck up, Itachi!" he spat, sucking the nipple as he wiggled his tongue against the pebbled nub. Goosebumps appeared on Itachi's fair skin, a flush of excitement bloomed about as well.
"Touch yourself, Itachi. I cannot do it for you... but you can damn show me how you want me to freaking touch you!" Hidan ordered. This turned Itachi on even harder. His erection grew harder and pre-cum beaded on the tip.
With trembling hands, he grabbed his cock and began to stroke himself.
"That's it. Show me, Itachi..." Hidan coaxed and the raven gladly followed. Itachi's clone brought the head before Itachi's weeping shaft.
"Kyah! Hidan!" Itachi gasped as he felt warm heat envelope his throbbing prick. Itachi threw his head back, glad that a tree was there to support him.
Hidan hummed on Itachi's length, gently licking the sides of the turgid shaft from time to time.
Itachi still tasted good. His pre-cum held a salty-bitter mix, but it was like the sweetest water in existence for Hidan. He began to suck... he wanted more... it was ambrosia... the nectar of a heavenly flower... it was the drink of life that he sought his entire life for.
"Ahh, Hidan!" Itachi gasped as he felt teeth graze against the stretched skin og his erection. It sent an electrifying feeling... a pleasurable pain all over his body.
"You smell damn good all over, Itachi. Are you sure you are not an apparition?" Hidan joked as he murmured against the heated thigh. The clone pulled the head a bit backwards, allowing Itachi to spread his legs wider.
His eyes flew open, Hidan seemed to control his clone for it knew where to bring his lover's head to. Maybe the Jashinist did find a way to control the clone to do his bidding. He didn't want to think if that was even possible.
All he could feel right now was Hidan's slick tongue lapping his tight balls. If this continues, Itachi knew he would soon be releasing his load.
"Itachi, touch your cock!" Hidan demanded. Trembling from his aroused state, Itachi began to pump his erection.
Hidan licked his lips. Itachi looked absolutely fuckable right now. He knew the raven wanted to be ravished, for the last time. Though Hidan knew it was impossible, he didn't want it to happen with genjutsu.
His head was still alive and he can still pleasure his lover.
Hidan was glad that the clone holding him seemed to read his needs. His head was placed before Itachi's entrance.
He first gave it a gentle lick, sending Itachi's body to jerk upwards.
"Hidan!" he warned as blush covered his cheeks.
"Shut the fuck up and continue with with you are doing!" Hidan demanded.
Lapping the twitching hole, Hidan heard Itachi's breath grow erratic.
"Open up for me, Itachi!" Hidan demanded.
With nimble fingers, Itachi left his weeping cock and went on to open his cheeks.
"Hidan! Fuck!" he growled in between gritted teeth. Itachi was getting delirious. He could feel Hidan's warm breath and wet tongue making it's way in his ass.
Hidan loved the feel of Itachi's twitching hole clenching against his tongue. He never tried this before, but it was a feeling he wouldn't miss for the world.
When Itachi's entrance was wet, Hidan asked the clone to bring him back towards Itachi's neglected cock.
As he took the raven's cock in his mouth, the clone inserted his hard erection inside Itachi.
"Haaahhh... Hidan!" he screamed.
He never thought of having a clone pleasure him. But with Hidan's ministrations, all the impossible was becoming real.
It was not a clone anymore.
It was Hidan.
It was his immortal lover impaling him.
"Fuck, Hidan. Harder!" he demanded.
Hidan continued to suck his cock as the clone continued to rock his hips against Itachi's open legs. Hidan felt Itachi's cock twitch and tremble. He swallowed him some more, Itachi's hard shaft buried deep in his throat.
He wasn't even sure if he had gag reflex. Probably not. His throat squeezed the throbbing shaft, his nose nestled on the dark hair at the base of angered muscle as he adjusted to Itachi's size.
The clone did not waver, it continued to rock it's hips - faster and harder until the thrusts and the sucks synced into a single rhythm.
"Kami! Hidan... don't stop! I'm cumming!" Itachi screamed, spreading his legs wider, grabbing his lover's head and pulled him deeper into his length.
"Hah! Hidan!" Itachi screamed. And with that feral howl, he came hard and filled Hidan's mouth with his seed.
The clone raised the severed head from the now-limp cock. Itachi collapsed to the ground. He was dazed and barely breathing. The clone removed his cock from Itachi's ass as well.
Gently, Itachi's clone placed the head on Itachi's sweat-covered chest and disappeared.
Itachi stared at the sky above him as he tried to recover from the aftermath of his orgasm. He never knew it was possible. But it happened and he came hard.
When his vision and breathing returned, Itachi looked at Hidan. The man smiled at him, his magenta eyes sparkled with a new kind of fire.
He could see that the man was contented.
He took the head and held it close to his chest.
Hidan closed his eyes and inhaled the scent that was unique to Itachi. Even after everything that took place, the raven still smelled clean. He listened to the raven's heartbeat and finally, in his long lifetime - he felt complete.
"Itachi..." Hidan whispered.
"Yes, Hidan?" he asked the man.
"I want you to end me..." Hidan whispered. Itachi looked at the man, his eyes questioned the statement that just left his lips.
"Finish me off. I want to end this immortal suffering. I want to die by your hands." the Jashinist stated.
"You know I can't kill you, Hidan." Itachi whispered.
"Don't be such a fool. You want the shinobi world to take advantage of what's left of me?" he asked.
Itachi knew the man was right. His head contained so many information that can be used as a weapon. He didn't like that to happen. For Itachi never really wanted war.
He will respect his lover's request then. And Itachi had the ways of erasing Hidan from the face of the earth. Hidan knew that ahead. Itachi had powers that could easily do what he wanted.
He looked at his lover and with pained eyes, the raven surrendered and nodded.
"Do it fast." Hidan demanded and Itachi gave a nod.
"Before you take me to fuckin' oblivion, promise me one thing." Hidan asked.
"Anything..." he whispered.
"Promise me that you will never forget who you really are." Hidan stated.
Itachi looked at Hidan. It was something he never expected to hear from the Jashinist.
"On your final battle, fight... fight with everything that you've got. But never forget who you really are. For at the end of the day, despite the deaths and blood on your hands - you will always be that boy that I met. " he gave a tired chuckle.
"The boy you met?" he asked.
"Yes, the boy whose speaking eyes showed me the pain he had to endure. The brave boy who fought the cruelty of the world..." Hidan whispered.
"The boy who intrigued me... who caught my attention..." he added as he looked up and met Itachi's dark eyes.
"You will always be that boy..." he said with a tired smile.
Itachi felt his heart crumble. Something he thought he could no longer feel after all the pain that he carried.
He closed his eyes and willed his Sharingan to activate.
When he opened his lids, he saw Hidan looking at him with a contented smile on his tired, handsome face. He saw the surrender in those eyes.
It was time.
"Amaterasu..." Itachi whispered. Dark flames started to engulf Hidan's head.
"You will always be... the boy... that I have learned to love..." and with that final words, Hidan's incapacitated head burned to it's final state.
Itachi stared at the pile of ashes on the ground. Nothing really could escape his cursed fire.
He silently watched the flames eat up the ashes and it then vanised from his sight.
He then grazed his fingers lovingly over the heated ground.
He never had the chance to tell the man what he felt.
"Farewelll, Hidan." he whispered as a tear unexpectedly escaped his eye.
Maybe in the realm of the dead, they would find each other.
Though he did not believe in heaven or hell, he was a believer of the afterlife.
So until then, all he have is Hidan's memory to hold on to.
And maybe, when the time for them to meet again comes... he could finally get a chance to tell the once immortal man that he was actually loved.
The End
A sad point to end, yes. But at least Hidan confessed.
Was it too weird to read? I felt all fuzzy while writing it... I needed to get hold of a pillow to visualize how Itachi held Hidan's head... *hides under my bed*
