Hey there, Naminé here with a collection of one-shots originally for the IchiRuki A Challenge a Day contest, but since I was too busy to post all of my entries for it on BA, I'm posting them here, one-by-one.

Also, most of these themes are more then 100 words, and have no relevancy to the next theme. So enjoy ^^

Day One – Kitten.

"Why am I not surprised midget?" Ichigo angrily asked the Shinigami in question.

"Why, what ever do you mean Kurasaki-kun?" Rukia asked in her school girl voice

"I mean, why the hell would I want a kitten for my birthday!? Only you could've thought of something like this..." he said while shaking his head

Rukia pouted, took the kitten, and put in right in front of Ichigo's face.

"Ichigo, I've read in this thing you call a "Newspaper" that having a cat will make one less angry." She said with a superior tone of voice.

But Ichigo wouldn't have it; he pushed the kitten away and narrowed his eyes at Rukia.

"And what god-forsaken newspaper wrote that bullshit?" he asked, temper flaring

"Oh, this one," said Rukia while taking out a hand-written newspaper entitled 'Get my Idiot Son a Girlfriend' in big bold letters.

Ichigo took the newspaper out of Rukia's hands and scanned the contents, when he was done, he ripped the newspaper in half and yelled

"Rukia do you have any idea's what this is? My idiot father wrote this newspaper just to torture me, I can't believe you'd actually read this shit, AND take advice from it."

Rukia huffed and turned around, holding the kitten up to her chest, "Well, I thought this kitten would make a good present, yes you would, yes you would." she said while putting the kitten up to her nose.

"And plus," she said turning her head to Ichigo, "it reminded me of you," at that point the scowling orange kitten licked Rukia's nose, and Ichigo got 3 shades redder then he was before.

"Idiot," he grumbled and looked away, "thanks for the birthday gift" he scratched the back of his head"

Rukia smiled and looked his way, "Now, all we have to do is go and buy Ichi-berry some stuff and your present will be complete."

Rukia left the room, and Ichigo realized something, "Hey wait Rukia! RUKIA! How'd you buy that kitten anyway? HEY WAIT! Why do I have to buy him stuff, it's my birthday! DAMN IT MIDGET, COME BACK HERE!"

screamed Ichigo while running after a laughing Rukia with the cute Ichi-berry in her hands.
