A/N: Haha. Man I randomly come back to this place for random little ideas I have. I'm pretty stupid, I could NOT find this section anywhere...until I tried to publish the story xD. So anyways, first attempt at writing a Charlie Brown one. I got this idea because (like everyone else who writes Charlie Brown ficcys) I'm in "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" at school. Random, I'm Lucy :) Tehe. Anywhos, real short but cute. Hope you enjoy :)
Lucy Van Pelt was the cruelest person Charlie Brown ever knew. She beat him up, threatened him constantly, and always insulted him with her favorite phrase, "You blockhead!" But for some reason, Charlie Brown could never pull himself away from her. He always found himself sitting at her physiatrist booth, his face in his palms, talking about how frustrating life really was.
"…and I just don't know what to do about her, Lucy," the boy continued, letting out a sigh, "I like that little red haired girl so much, I can't even describe it! But every day I sit at lunch, wanting to invite her over, and she never even spares a glance at me…"
Lucy tossed her hair behind her shoulders. "Well, Charlie Brown, why haven't you gotten the courage to talk to her? I mean, if you see her so often, why not just go to her?"
"I think I'm scared to talk to her…she's so pretty, Lucy…" He trailed for a moment, heaving out another sigh. "I think I just have a difficult time talking to pretty girls."
Lucy's eyes flashed red. "So what're you saying ,Charlie Brown?"
"What?"
"You said you have a difficultly talking to pretty girls," she folded her arms across her chest, "but you don't seem to have ANY problem talking to me."
Charlie Brown turned pale. "Well- I didn't mean that you're not p-p-pretty Lucy, I just meant that-"
"What, Charlie Brown? What did you mean when you said that?" The fury in her eyes got scary by each passing second. Charlie Brown sat, fumbling with his thoughts, attempting to organize them so they made more sense.
However, while he was doing that, he noticed how bright Lucy's eyes really were.
The hazel eyes he'd known for his whole life time had never seemed so magnificent, even with the anger blocking the color. Her eyes were such a deep shade of green, with a dark brown surrounding the outside. It matched perfectly with her hair…the long, black curls dangling over her shoulders. A strand was hanging right over her nose, her cute little nose, which was not to big nor to small. Charlie Brown had never actually truly looked at Lucy's face, and now, he regretted it.
"Well Charlie Brown? Hello? Are you ignoring me? I want to know what you meant! Are you saying I'm not pretty?" She asked, curling her fist into a ball.
"No Lucy, I didn't mean that…" He said freely, the words leaving his lips before he could think properly. "I think you're beautiful."
