DEGRASSI BEAUTY PAGEANT
Ashley. Paige. Emma and Hazel were organizing a fashion show. They set up the stage. Paige wasn't helping she was at the mall look for the perfect dress. She had already composed her acceptance speech for beauty queen. By the end of the day she had found her outfit. But Paige isn't known for her fashion sense. She went to Le Chic Boutique. She bought a super expensive wedding dress. Complete with pink pom-pom's. Mean while back at the school the other girls were working hard. They built the stage and everything was ready for the next day. The next there was a new girl at school named Zoe. Her dazzling smile mesmerized Craig. He was so busy watching her that her stumbled into Paige who was all dressed up in the pouffy prom dress. She fell backwards and landed head first in the garbage can. She was so mad at him. " YOU IDIOT! I HAD THE SPEECH READY AND EVERYTHING! NOW LOOK AT ME!" She yelled. "Oh, sorry Paige!" he stammered. She was covered in trash and there was a banana peel on her head. Just then an announcement rang over the loud speaker. " ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! The beauty pageant is about to start!" " OH NO! I AM GOING TO BE LATE!" screamed Paige. She ran down the hall. But she found that the gym doors were locked. So she went outside instead, around the yard to get into the gym's other entrance. But she slipped in the mud. She got covered from head to toe. When she finally got there she ran on stage. She looked terrible. She thought to herself: "well I not look or smell my best, but my natural beauty will shine through!" She was wrong. The whole student body stared up at her and gasped. She had to be pulled off stage. "WAIT!" she screamed. " I STILL HAVE TO SAY MY SPEECH!" While she waited back stage, she heard the crowd applaud for the newcomer Zoe. "WOW! She is SO pretty!" said TJ. In the end Zoe ended up winning. But Emma, Hazel and Ashley received honourable mentions. In the end Paige realized that she wasn't really model materiel. They all had a fun time and Paige made sure to take a long shower that night.
