It wasn't meant to happen, she was deep undercover, she hadn't wanted it all to fall apart like this.
It started on her day off.
'Robinnn' Barney whined, 'why not it's the laser tag championships!'
'Because-' Robin began but cut herself off when a voice in her ear yelled, 'HILL GET OUT OF THERE WE'VE GOT DOOMBOTS HEADING FOR YOUR AREA'.
'Because what?' Barney asked and Robin surveyed her friends.
'I'm sorry' she whispered and stood up.
'EVERYONE OUT' she yelled and brought out her gun from her shoe, 'NOW' she ordered and fired a shot.
Panic ensued as she expected but with another shot it was silenced, 'all of you exit via the fire escape, go down south and head toward the subway, my friends will be there to guide you to safety. They'll be the ones in the black suits'.
'Robin? What the hell?' Ted whispered, 'are you nuts?'
'HILL'
Robin looked at Fury, 'Director what's the situation?'
'Stark's got 3 chasing him. Rogers and Romanov are on ground with Hawkeye above and we don't know where Thor or Banner is. It's the Loki-scenario all over again'.
Robin nodded and yelled at the last of the people in the bar to get out. Only her friends remained and she knew it would be the last time she'd see them for a while.
'Guys. I'm really sorry I-i'
'Hill!' Fury barked.
'Is Captain Hook her boyfriend?' Barney asked Ted.
Robin shook her head, 'Barney he's my boss'.
'Kinky' Barney countered.
Robin rolled her eyes, 'my name is Maria Hill, Agent 2 of SHIELD, I am the first of my division and currently under deep cover due to the Sparkle Incident'.
'Sparkle incident?' her friends murmured with a smirk, 'is that Robin Sparkles?' Lily giggled.
'Just get to safety' Robin sighed, before following Fury out the door and into chaos.
