Author's Note: For some reason, I've written a lot of drabbles lately in my many fandoms. Here's one of them. Enjoy!
"You know, I've noticed something," Geordi La Forge remarked one day as he and a few of his friends were seated in Ten- Forward.
"What?" asked Worf, while Data's bright and slightly unnerving gaze moved from his best friend to the hulking Klingon and Wesley just sat there absorbing the other three's discussion.
"The turbolift seems to take a little longer whenever Commander Riker and Counselor Troi ride it," Geordi replied. "Only when it's the two of them by themselves, though."
"Hmm," Wesley seemed to think about it for a minute. "Perhaps it's only a coincidence."
Over behind the counter, Guinan quirked an eyebrow. She had a pretty good idea that it was a little more than a coincidence, although she wasn't about to say anything to the four now discussing it.
At that very moment in the turbolift, Will Riker and Deanna Troi were engaged in a passionate makeout session.
After a minute, Riker detached himself from Deanna and indicated the turbolift to continue. If they stayed any longer, people might suspect something was up. Even as it was, it was rather tough hiding the fact that they were together once again, which they'd decided to keep secret for the time being.
Oh well. At least they got privacy in Riker's quarters at night. Unless people looked for them using the computers, no one would suspect a thing.
