A/N: I was trying to work on Part 2 of The Best Birthday Ever, but then this ADORABLE idea attacked me and I had to write it NOW! SO HERE IT IS! :D

Archer sighed as he plopped onto the couch in the rec room. He was really upset because one of his really close friends was in the hospital. That friend's name is Brandon, and he was hospitalized last night because of a severe case of Bronchitis. He was on a whole bunch of pain medications, fever reducers, and antibiotics to clear it up and Archer knew he'd probably be fine.

...But he still worried.

He and Brandon had been close friends since around 3rd grade, so they pretty much grew up together. And Archer's difficult childhood had only brought them closer. He told Brandon everything. When something big happened, he called him and they'd talk for hours. When he had time off, he'd go visit him and they'd catch up on everything that had happened while he was away.

He truly considered him a brother, and it made him sad to hear that he was so sick. To make matters worse- he couldn't go see him. He couldn't just take leave and go across the country because his friend was sick. He had a job to do. A very important one, even more so with Roach on base.

He jumped, pulled from his depressing thoughts, when a hand settled on his shoulder. He looked up to see Toad, who was standing there smiling and holding a container of chocolate ice cream.

"Hey... I noticed you've been upset since last night. Will ice cream make it better?" Toad asked, sitting beside him and holding the ice cream out for him to take.

He sighed sadly and shook his head.

"No... Ice cream won't make it better." He mumbled.

"Wow, that's a first." He said, opening the container and eating a spoonful. "Well, what's so wrong that ice cream won't make things right? You wanna talk about it?"

He thought about it for a few moments, then decided against it. He really didn't feel like it right now... He just shook his head and stared at the floor.

Toad sighed as he scooped more ice cream onto the spoon. Archer was really upset... That made Toad upset too. He wanted to help...

A grin spread across his face as an idea formed in his mind.

"Hey, Arch..."

Archer turned to look at him and asked, "What is it?"

Right when he turned around, Toad stuck his finger into a glob of ice cream and poked him in the nose, efficiently getting it all over his face.

He gasped and said, "Hey! What was that f-"

And then he shoved the spoonful of ice cream into his open mouth. Archer glared at him as he swallowed the ice cream. Toad laughed and wiped the ice cream off of his face.

"Gimme that..." The younger man grumbled, snatching the bin of deliciousness from his hand and eating a few more spoonfuls.

"Are you better now?" Toad asked, ruffling his hair affectionately.

He shook his head and said, "No... not quite yet."

Then he promptly flicked a heaping spoonful of the ice cream onto Toad's face.

He smirked and munched on his ice cream, saying, "Now I'm better."
