Kawaii Necko

At his desk, Ritsuka stared, eyes glazed over, expression tired, and it looked like he didn't feel too good. In fact, his eyelids felt heavy, he felt tired, and his body felt weak. He blinked slower and slower, he felt more and more tired, and his body felt weaker and weaker. His head throbbed and his throat burned. He sighed and he felt something move inside his chest. His breath caught and he coughed and cleared his throat and coughed more and cleared his throat more. His body felt as if it needed to stretch and he stretched and sighed again. His breath caught again and he coughed and cleared his throat and coughed more and cleared his throat more.
Yuiko looked over at him with concern. "You okay?"
The classroom spun and he closed his eyes and laid his head on his desk. "Mnrgh…" He breathed heavily.
"Ritsuka? What's wrong?"
He felt everything spin. The slightest voice felt like extreme pain to his head. He grimaced and placed his palms over his ears as he hissed in pain and whispered in a panicked, pained tone of voice. "Tss! Yuiko!" He trembled.
The teacher noticed a sickly in appearance Ritsuka and a concerned Yuiko. She whispered, "Help him to the nurse, Yuiko."
Yuiko helped Ritsuka to the nurse.
Ritsuka stumbled and Yuiko tightly held onto him.
Ritsuka slowly opened his eyes. He stared at the ceiling above him with blurred vision. His head still throbbed and spun, so he closed his eyes again.
"Ritsuka."
He recognized that voice anywhere. "Mnrgh…Soubi…" He rubbed his eyes.
"Rest. It's alright. I'm here."
"Don't leave me."
"I won't."
"Promise?"
"Promise." He grabbed the bottle of water the nurse set out for Ritsuka. "Hey, Ritsuka. The nurse said for you to drink plenty of water. Why don't you sit up and drink some water?"
He grimaced as he rubbed his eyes. His nose itched, so he rubbed his nose. Eyelids squeezed shut, he kept the palm of his hand pressed against his face. "Mnrgh…ow."
This concerned Soubi. "Ritsuka?"
He couldn't think straight. He mumbled, "My…head…hurts."
"You sound stuffy. It's probably sinus pressure. You should blow your nose."
He fell asleep.
Soubi sighed. "Ritsuka."
Ritsuka woke in the middle of the night with pain in his ears. Sinus fluid backed up into his ears. The pain came from pressure on his eardrums. He moaned.
Soubi looked at him with concern. "Are you all right?"
He whimpered, "My ears."
"I told you to blow your nose."
He whimpered, "Do something, Soubi. It hurts."
Soubi went for the nurse.
When the nurse put ear solution in Ritsuka's ears, Ritsuka screamed. When the nurse left, Soubi told Ritsuka, "You scream like a girl."
"Soubi. It's not funny. It's painful. If you don't stop, I'll laugh at you when you get sick. See how it makes you feel."
"I smile and laugh because I love you, Ritsuka. You're my kawaii necko."
His nose and cheeks turned crimson. "I love you, too, Soubi."
He chuckled. "You're cute when you blush. You're cute when I tease you."
"You're kind."
