Chapter One- Ludwig
I frantically looked across the battlefield, searching for Japan and Italy. I was surrounded, with nowhere to go.I had my gun in my hand, but I was almost out of ammunition, and had about two shots left. Gunshots could be heard everywhere, and suddenly three of the men surrounding me fell to the ground, dead. I used up all of my ammunition by killing one of the last two and wounding the other. He shot me in the shoulder and fired again, and I was shoved to the ground. I heard the gunshot echo in my ears, but I couldn't tell if I was dead.
I woke up a few hours later in a hospital bed with Japan and Italy standing beside me.
"How are you feeling, Germany?" Japan asked. I moved my shoulder and cringed at the sudden wave of pain. I felt like shit.
"I could be better." I replied. Then just noticed that there was a brown-haired green-eyed girl in the room across from mine, who looked as if she'd taken a shot to the thigh and the collarbone. Ouch. Japan followed my gaze. Damn it.
"Oh, her? She's the one that saved your life. She got shot in the thigh, but then took out three of the men surrounding you and shoved you to the ground, taking the bullet that would've killed you in her collarbone. I wouldn't want to be her right now." He said, sounding a bit awed and genuinely concerned.
"I bet she likes pasta!" Italy said happily.
