"Alright, the pizza has been set out, and the banana-chocolate-smoothies have been blended! What's next?" Ed asked, grabbing his girlfriend by the shoulders and shaking her from behind.
"Stop that! We have to focus! Al's bringing her here in like, two minutes and we only just got the decorations up!" The small bespectacled girl ran about, trying to make this the best party ever, even if only four people were going.
This party had to be perfect, she wouldn't allow anything less for her best friend. This girl had done so much for both her and the Elrics, how could they not want the best for her? Why, it was this girl's efforts that brought them from the depths of depression after Winry moved away. And it was this girl that practically got all of them together, and she was the most spirited of the bunch, so they were never bored when she was around.
"Becca, chill out! It'll be perfect, and if not, she'll love it anyway, because it's not perfect, but it's fun," Ed ruffled the smaller girl's hair before setting out the giant bottle of and poured himself a small glass.
A knock was on the door, making the girl shriek before rushing to grab it.
"Hey, we're not late, right?" Al whispered, his hands her guiding the girl into the Elric house for the girl was both blindfolded and ear-muffed.
"You're about forty-three seconds late, dork," Becca sighed as she let the boy guide the other girl in. He led her over to the couch before sitting next to her.
"Right, we'll get the thing and then you can unkidnap her, or whatever you call all this," Becca gestured to the blindfold and earmuffs with a confused glance, but decided not to ask and just let Alphonse deal with it.
"Ed! Go get the thing!" She shouted, hearing a muffled swear a few seconds later.
"Is that Becca?" The girl on the couch asked, reaching for her blindfold. Her hand being smacked only a few seconds later.
"Fine, I won't ask," if she was rolling her eyes, the two others couldn't tell, but her smile stayed all the same.
Ed ran in, in his hands was a large box, all colored and decorated with various fandoms and doodles.
"Okay, do your thing, Al!" Becca pointed over to the boy who proceeded to wiggle around, getting curious and disturbed looks from both Becca and Ed.
"Okay, why is Al dancing?" The girl on the couch laughed, knowing exactly what was going on.
"Just take off the blindfold and earmuffs, dummy!"
The blindfold was taken off to reveal the girl with a pleasantly surprised look on her face as she saw her friends together with a big banner above them that wished her a happy birthday.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ALLI!"
This may all be fiction, but our friendship is real. I'm so glad to be coming back here where it all began to wish you a happy birthday.
Our friendship has been the only thing that really kept me going in the worst of times and makes me fly on the best of them. I hope you know how much you mean to me because words will never be able to tell you.
So Alapest, happy birthday to my best friend, my sister, my brother, the Waddles to my Mabel, the Alphonse to my Edward, insert Zelda reference here, and the chocolate to my bunny. Have a good one and I can't wait to see you again. I love you, sweetheart!
