Hi all..So wrote this in a particularly boring Health class. My motivation was that I think the Shinigami put too much pressure on Ichigo, and this story happened. It's supposed to be a sort of inner dialogue between Ichigo and his Hollow, so the italic parts are the Hollow's thoughts or words.
Ichigo fought because He did. The white creature that crouched in the dark corner of his mind and screamed, laughed, cried or howled the ball of mercilessness and pure furythat did everything he could not, the Hollow Urahara had created. The Shinigami had made a mistake, forcing Ichigo into their wars. They forced a child to become a soldier and forget everything but fighting.(Stupid fools with their stupid rules and all their little strings attached to everything because all they wanted was control)
Because Ichigo's stoic mask could not break, his Hollow showed the emotions he forced himself not to. As he fought countless, faceless enemies, a white hand lay across Ichigo's shoulder and his Hollow's dry, chapped lips crooned softly "Push King, keep goin! Pushpush never stop movin King, or they'll slice through ya like paper"
Because there was no winning or losing or playing dirty or honor. There were survivors and that was it. Assume the other person will use dirty tricks so use your tricks first. Warfare is based on deception. Strike him first. Fight. Push. Push until your arms give out and then keep pushing. To falter is to die. To give an inch is to give your life. A hollow voice whispered in Ichigo's head'Keep pushing King, Come on". The Shinigami had made a mistake. And it might just tear their pretty little world apart.
