Chapter I LEO
Leo would like to have said the past few days were easy, but he would have been lying.
Coming back from the dead and escaping on a flying dragon with Calypso sounded great but, as usual, that wasn't reality. Dying really took it out of you.
When they escaped the seas surrounding Ogygia they had found themselves back in Athens. This place, Leo had decided, was not a good place to revisit especially given the circumstances last time he was here. He had to say though, he liked it better second time. Not that the lack of giants trying to kill them would have anything to do with that.
He'd probably have liked Athens better if he hadn't crash landed on the acropolis. That place really didn't hold great memories what with Gaia having been woken there. She was gone now at least. And empousai had nothing compared to Gaia, but still he could have done without them.
He had not however counted on Calypso. Who knew she could look that hot wielding a bronze spoon bashing in empousai heads. He suspected she would be better using a knife but the choices were spoon or hammer and Leo couldn't use the spoon very well.
'Oi repair boy! Stop day dreaming and kick some monster butt you're missing out on all the fun!'
'Who told you about repair boy anyway?'
'You did idiot.'
And she returned to killing monsters- well the few that we're left anyway.
