Yugi was almost his way of his out of the class room when he sawn at the corner of his Joey at his desk, messing around with a wooden puzzle. It was quiet clear that his friend's brain was about to over-heat from frustration. Yugi gained a perplexed expression, worried for Joey's well-being and confused as to what made the sandy blond work on something that he had no interest in. Yugi turn back and made his way to his friend. "Hey Joey-?"
"Hold it, Yug. I 'am trying to concrete here." The taller teen said as looked at the puzzle more. "There has got to be a way to solve this stupid thing?"
"Why are you even working on that puzzle? You hated doing those things?"
"I know, but Tristen hid a candy that I was going to eat later, in this thing."
"Have you tried pulling a certain piece?"
"Say what?" Joey asked as he raised an eye-brow.
"I'll show you... May I?" Yugi said as held out his hand. The sandy blonde soon handed Yugi the puzzle while still having his confused face.
"Sure?" At that moment, the smaller teen, twist and pulled out a piece that made the rest of the structure fall apart. Joey's then expression turned to a disbelief one as his eye twitched. It was that easy? "There."
"Hold on, you mean to tell that all it took was just one lousy peg?"
"Yep."
"TRISTEN?!" The taller teen shouted in an irritated tone, right before he dashed off and out the room. Yugi stood there, looking at the door with a concerned look. He sighed. The stuff that has been placed upon him. He took the pieces and put them in Joey's desk, so he would find them than went off to find his friends before at least one of them beats-up the other.
Author's note: This story was kind of based on my experience with a wooden puzzle of my own only, I didn't twist those pegs hard enough and I didn't have a friend who hid my candy in the thing.
This next story is some random, extra stuff about how Tristen was able to get Joey to work on the wooden puzzle. I hope these two stories will be entertaining for you guys.
"Hey Joey?" called out a brunette as he held a wooden puzzle in on hand and worn grin on his face.
"Huh, what is it-? Ahhh!... " The sandy then walked up to his friend, glaring at the object. "Say Tristen, why is my candy in that puzzle?!" Indeed, the sandy blond teen could see his candy tapped in the mechanism.
"I just want to challenge you."
"SAY WHAT?!" At that moment, Joey grabbed Tristen by the caller his shirt, looking as if he was going to punch straight in the face. "YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE ME DO THAT PUZZLE JUST TO GET MY CANDY BACK?"
"Hey-a now, let's make a bet?"
"A bet?"
"Yeah, let's see now.. ah, if you solve this here puzzle," Tristen the item up for they both could see. "Then I'll give you many of those magazines that we love so much."
Just then, the Joey swipped the wooden object of his friend's hand, released his friend, chuckled with mischievous smile, before he said "You're on, Tristen."
"Good, now that's what I like to hear."
