"Well, the positronic electrons have to line up just right, so then I can…"
The Doctor, still explaining to Amy, stepped out of the TARDIS doors to see an army of metal men facing the TARDIS…and their motley crew. An eerie silence stretched over the company, until the Doctor smiled and took on a cocky pose. "Well, Amy, you know the best approach to take here…"
"What? Doctor, what are these-"
"Surprise them!" Taking off at breakneck speed, the Doctor charged toward the nearest Cyberman and linked his arms through the great metal bonds. Swinging around, he began singing, or humming madly. Amy could only gape as the childlike Time Lord threw each Cyberman to the ground, where they lay helplessly.
"C'mon Amy! It's great fun!" Turning to another Cyberman, he pretended to dance a jig while throwing the huge lump of metal off balance and into a hedge. Finally he stood, breathless, at the opposite end of the legion of fallen Cybermen and beamed at Amy.
"Aww, Amy, there aren't any left for you!"
"Doctor, what-what did you do?"
"Well, Pond…" Approaching her with a smug look, he stepped over fallen Cybermen and deftly avoided their spastic lasers, firing into thing air. "Simply using centrifugal force, and the weight of my body, I was able to…well, to put it simply: knock them over. Like dominoes, really. Simple as that!"
"And they let you do that?"
"Well evidently! Their knees don't exactly bend anymore, so…they're stuck. Can't believe no one's figured it out before this."
"Wait." Indignantly, she faced him. "You mean to say you came up with this insane plan only as soon as we stepped out of the TARDIS?"
"Ummm…would you be angry if I said yes?"
"You could have killed us?"
"Yes. But I didn't. Aaaand…I believe it is time for us to be going again. Into the TARDIS, Amy, don't dawdle, and goodbye chaps!" Pushing Amy into the TARDIS with one hand and waving to the Cybermen with the other, the Doctor finally shut the door behind him and smiled.
"Doctor…"
"Hmm?"
"There's no such things as positronic electrons, is there?"
"Ummm…" He grinned sheepishly as he answered. "No?"
