oooo! and side note before you read. Starfire is at home, so she will be able to talk a little better, but i'll try to keep her in charater crosses fingers
Starfire has been home for just a week from her two week journey to earth, but her father has noticed a change in her. She seems to be wanting to say something to him but it never wants to come out, until one day, that her father will not forget.
The sun was very bright that day, and Starfires father was in his study reading until he heard a knock on the door. "Father? It is me."
"Starfire? Oh, come in" Her father replied putting down the book he had been reading.
"Father I must tell you something, It is importent." Starfire said seriously
Starfire's father looked at Starfire curiously, she would normally have a cherriy smile on her face. But now, she was was looking nervous and wringing her hands. "Alright, go on." He said
"Well you see. . ." Started Starfire nervously "while I was on earth, I met a boy there"
"A boy?"Questioned Starfires father a little angry "What did he want?"
"Well you see. . . he was working on making" Starfire was getting a little shaky in her speach now". . on making, a sort of crime fighting team on his planet. It would help his planet greatly." She added in quickly before her father would interupt.
"No! Why should he want you to leave your family and your planet behind, just so he can have his 'crime fighting team'" Starfires father practily shouted.
Starfire's head looked down at the floor. They stood there in a heavy silence, until Starfire walked to the window and looked out at the view.
"Oh father" She said "How can I hope to make you understand

Starfire looked up at her father and then continued "Once I was happily content to be

The smile Starfire had been gaining, suddenly faded with those last words, and Starfires father suddenly looked at the floor, but Starfire continued

Starfire finished with tears in her eyes gazing at her father, who was still looking at the ground. "I will miss you", was all that he said. Starfire then ran up to him and gave him a hug "Thank you, father"
