What is worth dying for? That is a question that few normal people like to think about. However if you are one of the few people in the world that works for Warehouse 13 nothing about you is normal. Throughout the years it seems that everyone who has ever worked for the top secret government warehouse of wonder has either died gone insane or turned evil or all of the above. While people hope the last two don't happen the first one is a very real possibility on the job. The agents are expected to risk their lives daily for the good of the world in order to gather the artifacts and stop them from hurting people. With the most recent threat to the warehouse a Mr. Walter Sykes there is a very real possibility that they all might die and three do the question is was it worth it?

Helena G. Wells famous author and ex Warehouse 12 and 13 agent had spent over a year with her consciousness living in an orb. She died in order to save the one person in the world she truly cared for with all her heart and her friends. She believed with all her heart that it was a worthy sacrifice. After all if she could save Myka then maybe it would balance out all the mistakes and regrets she had in her long existence. These were the thoughts that were running through her head when her companions were busy freaking out for lack of a better word. All that was running through her head was that she had to save them no matter what even as she trapped them in the blue bubble while the timer was ticking away. As she smelled the familiar scent of apples realizing that the warehouse had finally forgiven her she knew she had made the right choice.

Although Steve Jinks hadn't been working at the warehouse long he knew he too had found a home among the other misfits that worked here particularly Claudia. Claudia Donovon who reminded him so much of his sister that from the moment they were partnered together he knew he would do whatever he could to protect her. This is why when the regents approached him about their plan to deal with the biggest threat that the warehouse had ever faced he agreed immediately. He knew that it was a dangerous mission and that to his friends it would seem like he betrayed them he knew he had to do it to protect his new family and the warehouse but mostly to protect Claudia. This he knew was worth dying for.

Mrs. Fredrick had been around longer than most people realized as Warehouse 13 caretaker she shared a unique bond with the mysterious warehouse in South Dakota. She had sacrificed much in her life to ensure that the warehouse would survive until she could find her replacement. This included seeing the man she loved and later her children and grand-children grow old and eventually die while she no longer aged. But although it saddened her she never regretted it was more than a job it was her mission in life to protect the world from the dangerous artifacts. To protect her family and the rest of the world. With the new threat to the warehouse she knew there was a real possibility that if all their plans failed that the warehouse could be destroyed and she might die. Her connection to the warehouse was important and she knew the warehouse must be protected at all costs no matter how high. It was worth even dying.

Although people often say they would die to have something or would kill for something few are prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice. Because few things are worth it but when you find something worth it like love, family or for mankind then it is an easy decision to make at least that is what Helena, Steve and Mrs. Fredrick thought as they saw their lives ending.
