Hello, my name is ProfessorWaluigi, and today, I'd like to start a new fanfiction, my first one to be exact. My updates are quite slow, so I'm sorry about it. I'm just lazy and generally unmotivated.
The universe is at chaos. More and more planets are falling under the control of the evil Nightmare Incorporated, and many lives are lost at a daily basis. The people on the planets grow hopeless, some even completely pessimistic and bitter. But the worst part of this is that the threat of the cruel company is not new. It is, in fact, something that has been going on for a thousand years.
A thousand years ago, the dark, frightening energy coming from people's nightmares was growing stronger. A being, who had absorbed that energy for a long time, sought more of the power, and thus began performing all kinds of cruel practices to get people to have stronger nightmares. It was once a regular man, but the incredible amounts of power he absorbed not only gave him might, but transformed his body and twisted his mind further. With this amazing power in hands, he could not only cast incredibly dangerous magical spells, but also create and shape monsters, only capable of destroying. To celebrate these nightmarish powers, he dubbed himself "Nightmare" and began attacking the planet he lived on. His monsters were however stopped by a group of extremely powerful fighters, the Star Warriors, who had gathered to form the Universal Galactic Star Warrior Army, or the UGSWA (pronounce: yoogswa) for short. But regardless of their efforts, more and more people were having frightful dreams, and soon, the monsters outnumbered the Star Warriors, and took more and more of their members. But this was not their downfall yet. Their most elite members could still wipe out whole armies of monsters, and the battle for dominance continued for many centuries. But then, the unthinkable happened. A Star Warrior Elite betrayed his group, causing them to get nearly wiped out. Only few members escaped, one of which now resides on Planet Popstar, protecting the still beautiful, pure planet from harm.
But there is new hope. On that same planet, there live two more beings who will become mighty Star Warriors themselves. But they are not the only ones, for more are out there in the universe, training, although not yet to be Star Warriors. And now, we focus on the young Star Warrior who will eventually end Nightmare's cruel ways forever. He is on his way to Popstar right now, and although he is young and has much to learn, he is the only one that has the ability to destroy Nightmare and free the universe.
