Lapis was sitting in her aunts prius. Wondering how people would treat her hear has been on her mind for some time and caused her not to get sleep. "You know you can skip today if you'd like," Aunt Azure said. Thinking of what she said, lapis left the cat and said goodbye to her aunt. Lapis went to her class and was introduced by her teacher Mrs. Quartz. She was a tall woman with hair as curly as rings.
"Class I want to introduce you to our new student, would you like to say your name to everyone," She said sweetly. Lapis help her own arms and said softly "I'm Lapis, where's my seat at Mrs. Quartz?" Without missing a beat a small hand shot up. "She can sit with me mom!" Lapis turned to the hand and saw a kid with brown curly hair wearing a pink shirt with a gold star. Mrs. Quartz just giggled at the boy. 'Is he her son?' Lapis thought. "Lapis, would you mind sitting with my son?" 'That answers that' Lapis looked up and said sure to her teacher.
"Hi, I'm Steven. Your names Lapis?" Steven said to me. I look at him and he just smiles at me. "Yeah, your mom's the teacher?" Steven shook his head and the door was swung open. "Sorry I'm late Mrs. Quartz, some clod was responsible for a traffic accident on the way here," Mrs. Quartz just looked at Peridot with worry. "Was anyone seriously hurt?" The other kid explained what happened. "Well Peridot at least you're safe," Peridot, so that's her name. She comes over to the group of tables that I'm at. Looking closer at her, she has green in her hair and huge round glasses. Reminds me of Pidge from Voltron. Mrs. Quartz continues on with her lesson plan.
School ends for today and the kids all go home. Lapis waits for her aunt. She sees her Prius pulls up and goes to her. "How was school Lapis?" Lapis made no attempt to talk. "I guess that you don't want to have some piroshkies tonight," Lapis perked up at hearing that. "School was okay auntie. I made a new friend today as well," This got Azures attention. "You actually talked to someone today?" Lapis smirked at the memory. "He talked to me actually," "A boy, was he nice?" Lapis nods her head. Lapis continued to talk about how she saw a girl that looked like Pidge from Voltron, and about how her teacher smelled like roses.
