Ginny stands, painting in the center of the room. Her canvas splashed with color, bright colors, reflecting her personality. This has been her way of calming herself since the Battle of Hogwarts. She hums to herself as she dabs more color on the already sunny cloth.

I sneak behind her, a smile threatening to breakout. I skillfully step over a creaky board, not a sound escaped the wooden floor. Slowly I lift my hands to her shoulders. A goofy grin creeps onto my face.

"Boo!" I shout. Ginny jumps up two feet and twirls around, to spy the face of who had spooked her. As she turned, her wet paintbrush struck my face. She gasps, obviously holding back laughter.

I turn to see in the mirror what could possibly be so funny. Ginny loses it.

"You have… a little something… there." She says in between laughs, finding the yellow streak painted across my face way too funny for her own good.

"This is funny?" I ask, holding an eyebrow up, which she giggles to. "Well, then…" I bend down and grabbed a bucket labelled 'red paint' that was conveniently placed within reach.

Ginny closed her eyes right before the purple paint was dumped on her head, it's a good thing she always paints on a mat.

"Mwuhahaha!" I laugh at her sloppy smile she gave me.

"How do we always end up in these situations?" She asks, her discomfort from the paint obvious, making the mess even funnier.

"Eleven years of friendship and I still don't know." I reply with a smirk, which earns me a playful slap.

Ginny studies my face. "You know, you look better in yellow."

I know this isn't really long, but I had inspiration and it turned out to be like this, short and sweet. Who do you think is the other character? Hermione, Ron, Harry, Draco? Let me know in the reviews.

Also, in my bio it might say that 'negative reviews are disapproved' or something like that, it's supposed to say, 'are NOT disapproved', but Fanfictions been acting kinda glitchy, so even though I'm trying to change it, it might not. Spoiler! I am working on a Dramione Fanfic right now, so watch out for that. (It is going to be a longer, more complex story .)
