Peace offering? Lol kidding, just something that came to me two minutes ago. I don't own Nikita.

He hates him.

Oh Michael knows hate. He knows what it's like to be driven by it, consumed by it, eaten by it until there's nothing left but the ashes of who you used to be. He understands it better than he understands this need. This need that is new to him, something he's never felt before. The need to be close to her, protect and possess her, all in one neat little package. Michael has always been rational, except when it comes to hate and need. These two are now so closely intwined within himself that he can barely tell them apart anymore. He needs her, and he hates himself for it.

There is one person he hates more than himself, and in his darkest moments he wonders if he hates him more than the man that haunts his dreams, the man that killed his wife and child. It's seperate, this hate from the other. Two different kinds. He hates Kazim, and one day his time will come and he will die by his hands. But this... this man... he can't kill him, because of her. Because she loves him.

In his darkest hours he dosen't care.

He fights dirty. He can't act like she's his, because to the world she isn't, but his heart knows the truth and so does his body. She feels it too. He knows she does, because even though she claims to love Daniel, she always returns to him. And when he rolls her underneath him and press heated kisses to her neck and shoulder she moans, and it's his name she moans, and for awhile he can forget that she's only his right now, and when the morning comes she'll go back to him. He knows she'll come back, even though he knows that she hate that she does.

He knows it'll end one day. They can't keep doing this forever. Hating, needing, burning. One day all that'll remain is their ashes, when they've burnt themselves out.
