He's no tree-hugger, but sometimes he just wants some simpleness back, you know? The awesomeness of nature, or some shit like that.
Modern technology is finicky and annoying and dangerous. How many people can they kill in a moment now? How the hell do they prevent a man with a bullet in his chest from dying? How the fuck did the scientists figure this shit out?
He hates modern technology so much sometimes, not only because of the increased suffering they bring to wars (which nations do get tired, so very tired of), but also because of another crucial stab in the awesomeness.
