Beckett and Castle are talking about a guy who died a few days earlier. Beckett is not buying what Castle saw.
Castle: I am not crazy. I saw that guy they found dead near that bar murdered 2 days ago.
Beckett: The autopsy said he died of a heart attack.
Castle: He didn't die of a heart attack. The guy was in a fight with another guy. Something was weird about both of them. The dead guy was able to move things with his mind or something. He was pulling a CARRIE moving things to deflect the other guy.
The other guy managed to get close and pulled out something and pressed something into the dead guy's chest and weird lights came out of the guys body and into whatever the other guy had in his hand.
Beckett thinks Castle is a bit crazy.
Beckett: I think u may need to get checked out at the hospital. U might have suffered a concussion.
Castle: I am not crazy. I saw something even I can fathom or explain.
Beckett sighs, I will look into it. The Medical Examiner shows up and looks worried.
Beckett walks to them sees the ME is troubled and asks in front of Castle and Beckett about what is troubling him.
Medical Examiner: He didn't die of a heart attack exactly, Detective Beckett
Beckett: What do u mean?
Medical Examiner: The guy was only 28 and was in perfect health. His heart gave out rather oddly, but I don't know what killed him. However, this type of death seems to be happening a lot lately.
Castle: How so?
Medical Examiner: At least a dozen similar deaths have happened in Chicago in last few months, and 1 in Roswell New Mexico in which a man's body was found near a diner.
What makes this is odd is all these people just suddenly after coming to Chicago one day about 6 or 7 months ago, just left their jobs and families and started committing crimes.
The Chicago PD is worried and baffled and when I told them what happened, they say they will be contact the Captain later today. They are suggesting u go to Chicago and investigate.
